Went to Holland emergency care what welcome do you have there? You feel like your present by security guards sitting at the front desk what are you securing second the nurse or RN or whatever she is at the desk inside the room which is open the door called your name and walked away with the door wide open next so-and-she did that to everybody didn’t even ask what’s the matter didn’t even come out and said, do you need a wheelchair? Do you need help nothing just Your your number there no compassion go through the process there was hardly anybody there but it’s going to be an hour wait before you get into a room just got to see a doctor and then I had pain on the right side of my leg and they were doing their ultrasound on my left side of the leg And then she looked at the notes and say yes I see here that you were complaining about your right side of the leg, because I told her you’re doing the wrong side of the leg after she did it she said she had to compare the two, but I didn’t know she was not doing it the right way unorganized, fast fast fast go go go get out of here that’s how I felt. And I left right after didn’t wait for a room. I bet they don’t even call me about the results of my ultrasound or if I need any medication or a special offer to another doctor. So they wanted to take me back to the room. I told him I didn’t want a room. I just wanted my test results and any medication I have to take and she said OK bye and she left didn’t give me any paperwork didn’t tell me my test results just charge...

5/9/25: I would like to thank everyone at Holland Hospital for the excellent care I received yesterday before, during, and after my Total Knee Replacement Surgery with Dr Hop as an out patient. Starting with the great directions I was given to the correct entry for surgery, thru the kind and professional welcome I received at the front desk, and then the warm welcome from the staff in the outpatient pre surgical center. It was a very pleasant, very low anxiety start. After being fully prepped by my out patient surgical Nurse, I was taken into to surgery to meet the rest of this wonderful staff. The next chapter was a bit fuzzy as I was sedated and received spinal anesthesia. And hats off to both my Anesthesiologist and Nurse Anesthetist. They made the whole process painless and anxiety free. And off course, Dr Hop deserves my highest praise. He comes with high accolades and did not disappoint. Everything was explained and all my questions patiently answered. And I know it’s only been one day postop and my local nerve block may still be active, but thus far I am experiencing less pain than I was living with daily for quite some time. And I am confident the remainder of my recovery will tell a similar story. Can’t wait to get back to things I was missing! Want to thank the entire Holland Hospital team for their dedication to a “patient first” type of philosophy. I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Holland Hospital orthopedic surgery! From the moment I was brought back for pre-op prep to the time I discharged the care was top notch. From the Techs to the RNs, to anesthesiologist and the surgeon! So professional but more importantly, they make sure you understand and all questions and concerns are addressed. I have never met an anesthesiologist who was so clear, thorough and reassuring. He is a keeper for sure! Upon arrival to the OR I was very impressed and again, they were all so comforting and reassuring! And lastly, post op, they were fantastic and always made sure I was comfortable! I had so many wonderful staff members that provided care that I do not remember all the names but just a few, Laura, one of my nurses, Aaron the anesthesiologist (my apology for not remembering your last name), and of course my surgeon, Dr Hop. The entire department runs like a well oiled machine but with the utmost care and concern for the patient. They all make you feel like you are the most important person they are caring for at that time! It is no wonder that Holland Hospital Orthopedics is ranked #1 in the state!
