Supermarket Rosie — Restaurant in Holland

My girlfriend and I recently stopped by Supermarket Rosie, and we had an outstanding experience from start to finish. I opted for the chimichanga, while she chose the taco plate, and we both decided on shredded chicken for our meals. Let me just say, the shredded chicken was a fantastic choice — juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. My chimichanga had that perfect crispiness on the outside, with the flavorful chicken and fillings creating a deliciously satisfying bite every time. My girlfriend’s taco plate was equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors that really made the meal stand out.

Beyond the incredible food, the supermarket itself offered an impressive variety of options, making it easy to find exactly what we were in the mood for. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff only added to that experience. They were super friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home.

I rarely eat restaurant food. This was my first time visiting Holland MI. I was craving some calorie-dense cooked recipe. I had also considered eating fruit and peanuts in my hotel room... I asked for the wet burrito with chicken but no queso (no cheese). The girl behind the asked about sour cream. I said no to that too. It arrived with cheese on top. To be fair, the description listed 'cheese' and 'mozzerela'... maybe i wasn't clear that I wanted no cheese inside and no cheese on top either... maybe I should have said no cheese and no mozzerela ... maybe she thought I only wanted cheese absent from the inside... rather than complain, I decided to just scrape the cheese off the top and try eating it anyway... the inside was free of cheese and sour cream... the rest was actually edible, although I didn't care for the strong cilantro...

The staff here are always very pleasant and professional that is so refreshing especially as of late! Very tasty Spanish rice accompanied my chicken wet burrito. I am not usually one to eat spanish rice,but it was very tasty!! I usually always get extra cheese/sauce on my wet burritos, but these are good just they way they make them! The flavor in my chicken wet burrito was nice & flavorful not spicy.The green salsa sauce is my favorite, they offer a red salsa spicy sauce too.

The flavor is so on point. The shredded chicken wet burrito was/is very delicious! We will be back.

Fresh ingredients, nicely seasoned, flavors were on point. I look forward to trying more of the food from this establishment! Thank you to all the hardworking staff here! Also many compliments to the cooks!
