Burger King — Restaurant in Holland

It is BurgerKing with a side of food roulette, rolled through today order two #1 meals with cheese, one with a diet coke, one with a regular coke. Waited ten minutes to pay, was informed at paying they had to "reboot the system" - totally get it, it happens. Got to the second window to get food and was handed a bag with one drink, asked about the second and got a look like I was trying to steal the crown jewels. I was asked what it was, looking at the top of the drink I received - none of the dimples were pushed I assumed I was missing the diet - so I said diet. We got the diet and I asked if I could have some ketchup - they were generous enough to give me four packets. I get it you have a business to run but if you can't give me enough ketchup for more then six fries charge me for it, I am not driving around with a bottle of ketchup in my truck. After the ketchup disappointment I go to grab a drink of my Coke to wash down my dry fries, nope, diet - try the other also diet. Arg! Looks like I will be throwing this out, I don't get it - you have a list of what needs to be included with the order TAPED TO THE BAG - put your phone down and read it before handing it through the window! Management...

This Burger King is really a hit or miss with decent service and/or food. I usually always go through the drive thru at any fast food restaurant so can't say anything about the inside of this one, but the last time I was at this location, the girl that was taking payments must have just started working there because I waited at the window and waited at the window and waited at the window!! and she did not even acknowledge me. She was too busy trying to figure something out with the register, but she did not even look at me or say anything to me. After waiting enough, I left. Hey, if she had an issue...fine, but I don't appreciate be invisible when I am trying to spend my money at a business. Also food has been cold if you go too close during closing time, which I will never do again. Unfortunately it is the closest one to where I live, but will drive the extra mile or two to go to...

They have a playland so that is nice. Good size. Conflicting signs about eligibility for children. They mention height on the door but then 12 and under in the rules. My 7 seven year old tall daughter exceeded the height.

Food service almost ok. Speed was good. Had a hard time getting a cheeseburger no ketchup. Apparently their cheeseburgers only have ketchup and pickle even though bk website includes mustard? Odd.

Nuggets are a steal at 10 for $1.50. It was faster than most bks. The playland will probably get us to come again.

12/02/23 Update Amazing Christmas decorations! I have never seen a fast food restaurant so decked out. Photo spot setup like fireplace and decorated tree. Lots of decorated trees everywhere. Kids ornament crafts to keep or hang on trees. Free meals from giving tree.

VERY WELL DINE AND FESTIVE!!

Definitely upped the game for restaurant Christmas...
