Purchased a bed from this location for $3000+ that essentially was broken from day 1. It was marketed as a “high quality Italian bed” but about a week after I bought it, began making all kinds of noise when I sit or lay.
Reported the issue, they came out and replaced a portion of the frame. A few weeks later, the same thing happened. And then got exceedingly worse until eventually the headboard became completely disconnected and the bed is essentially destroyed. note this is with VERY LIGHT USE!! I have been traveling for the majority of the time I have owned this bed and not been home.
So now, I have been attempting to get this bed returned for about 4 months. They refused a refund, yet offered store credit which I accepted. Yet they have thus far not picked up their defective product nor provided store credit.
The sales associate, Vadim, keeps telling me he is going to “get back to me” yet he never does. They were supposed to pick up the bed today but I was told
“Hi Derrick. No, the owner of the company forbade the warehouse staff to do the pick up. I am going to call him and get back to you”
Spoiler alert - he never got back to me and the store is now screening my calls.
Surely at this point they are trying to run down the clock on my warranty meanwhile I have been without a functional bed for 6 months.
TL;DR VERSION - This store markets it’s products are premium, and while their furniture may LOOK great…it is nonetheless low quality and will quickly fail. They also make every effort to circumvent their warranty policy, and act in bad faith. If you are on the fence about buying here -...
Read moreI recently ordered a dining table through their website. We now have a piece of furniture that we love but my overall experience has been disappointing.
Two days after placing my order, I received an email stating that the table "failed to meet the standards and did not pass quality control." I then received another email asking me to sign a delivery agreement before they could ship the item. When I inquired about the quality control email, they brushed it off as a typo.
The dining table was being dispatched just 5 hours away from my home, yet it took over a month to arrive. Throughout this period, I received conflicting information about the table's location. Everyone I dealt with at the shipping company was helpful but their logistics are a mess. At one point, I discovered the table was in another state entirely. The delivery company's limited schedule of shipping to my town only once a week further complicated the coordination for delivery.
The table arrived intact but the styrofoam in the box was shredded up into small pieces. It caused a huge mess during unboxing.
The table itself had craftsmanship issues with noticeable (glue? varnish?) splotches on the table base. I emailed the store within a few hours of delivery to report the issues and have followed up multiple times over the past couple of weeks. I have yet to receive any response from their customer service team.
While we love the table, the poor communication and the extremely long delivery time made this a frustrating experience. I hope they improve their quality control and customer service...
