Mixed Experience at Florentine Bakery
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
I recently visited Florentine Bakery for the second time, and my experience was a bit disappointing compared to my initial visit. While the Burekas, an Israeli pastry, were still delicious, there were a few aspects that didn't meet my expectations.
Firstly, I noticed that the bakery frequently ran out of items listed on their menu. It was disappointing to have my heart set on something only to find out it wasn't available. This inconsistency in stock was frustrating and made me question their inventory management.
Furthermore, the service at Florentine Bakery was extremely slow and unattentive during my visit. I found myself waiting for extended periods to be attended to, and the staff didn't seem proactive in addressing customer needs or inquiries. This lack of attentiveness impacted the overall dining experience negatively.
To top it off, my coffee order was messed up. It's disheartening when a simple request is mishandled, especially when the rest of the experience hasn't been smooth either. I had expected better attention to detail from a bakery that prides itself on its culinary offerings.
Despite these disappointments, I must mention that the initial visit to Florentine Bakery had left a positive impression on me. The Burekas were absolutely amazing, and it's a shame that the overall experience fell short this time.
In summary, while Florentine Bakery still excels in the taste of their pastries, the frequent lack of menu items, slow and inattentive service, along with mistakes in the coffee order, made my recent visit less enjoyable. I hope they can address these issues and regain the consistency and quality that initially drew me to their...
Read moreThe vibe is super elegant and charming—definitely the kind of place you’d bring a date or even host a business meeting. From the moment you walk in, the décor makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden downtown garden, the perfect setting for breakfast or lunch. A real picnic atmosphere.
The service? Fantastic. Attentive, smiling, responsive—exactly what you hope for.
And the food—oh boy! Absolutely incredible. The sambusak is a must-try, no matter what filling you choose. It did take a little while to come out, but once I saw it was made fresh in a pizza oven, it all made sense. Honestly, I’ll gladly wait for food that’s cooked to order. Even the condiments were delicious and clearly thought through.
Pricing was right on point—exactly what you’d expect for the quality. And best of all, no silly service fee tacked on. That alone deserves support.
Great job to the team—keep it up and make sure the quality always...
Read moreThe atmosphere and the place are pleasing to the eye. Cozy.!!! Until the moment you get to the cashier to place your order. Everything served here is delicious. I was there to eat with a friend at the same place and I informed the cashier. She handed us everything inside several bags without plates. How can someone serve breakfast inside a bag without plates and cutlery? But the most important thing is to know that good service is everything, and the service provided by the cashiers and the customer service is very impolite and disrespectful. They are not attentive, they talk to each other while they serve and they are rude. Learn to choose better who serves your customers because this is the presentation letter of a business. Maybe pick-up is the best solution, especially for breakfast which is the sacred time of the day when you eat your first meal of the day and you want to do it calmly and with positive...
