me and my son came here for dinner. I've driven past this place a thousand times and decided to check it out. upon walking in, we were greeted and shown to our table. There were two other tables with customers, and the rest of the diner was empty. the waitress took our drink orders and returned with them. my son's cup(styrofoam) had a small hole poked in it by the ice. no big deal, our waitress replaced it. he ordered the cheese burger and I the fish and chips and a small house salad. the salad came out first. I waited a few minutes for silverware and eventually went behind the counter myself to get silverware and napkins. There were bits of lettuce that started to turn and were brown and slimy. The cucumbers, you could tell, had been sitting in a warm bin all day. They were soft and warm. the red onion was chopped into tiny little pieces, and the croutons were stale. when my entree (fish and chips) came out, it looked very good. I grabbed a fry and was instantly disappointed. how do you mess up french fries at a diner? they were obviously cooked earlier and thrown back in the fryer to order. The piece of fish was cooked well. However, there was a blood vien running right through my piece. I was so hungry I attempted to eat it anyway. the coleslaw was OK, which also came as a side with the entree. My son said his burger wasn't good either, and he didn't finish it. this kids' diet is 60 percent cheeseburgers. Anyways, I'm more or less glad I stopped by instead of wondering how it is? Now I know. I did let the waitress know that these are the worst fries I've ever had. She let the manager know, and she came over to me and asked if I'd like them remade. I declined since the cook asked what was wrong and seemed very angry his culinary skills were not up to my standards. I do not...

Had the burger and fries the burger was little dry and I have mine medium rare but the fries are awesome there are big and meaty and I had the brownie sundae after and for $5.99 it's enormous they've doubled the size of it since the last time! I swear even though the server says it's the same size like oh my god I've eaten most of it not sure I'll make it through the rest of the brownie sundae because it's that big and I really am a chocoholic lol the waitress was a little off she assumed I was done when I finished my burger and fries then I had to wait for her to come back to my table so I could order my Sundae I have not been here in quite a long time and I had to sit in the back of the restaurant where it's more convenient for power chairs I guess out of sight out of mind but my overall four stars is for the quality of the food the meat of the burger was very good even though it was a little dry the bun was delicious they put everything on my burger cheeseburger except onions which would have been nice not sure if everybody eats onions on your burgers but I do I forgot to order it with mayonnaise so I had to send her back and then I realized there was no onions so I just ate it the way it was. How to recap is the service was okay substance for me food was delicious high quality worth the money. Part two I actually was there just a few weeks ago and the burgers were juicy and the buns were great and I said drag it through the garden no hots and everything was on my plate slap some mayo on it and I was all good to go but like I said before french fries they're astounding they're delicious you get beat inside of your potato it's not just fried or crisp because they're a little short skinny ones like McDonald's...

I don't know what happened to this place... been coming here for some time now and no problems. I would typically go later in the evening. And if any delays on the food occurred. The manager, I assume he was the manager, would come to our table and apologize for the delay and refiled our drinks. That was a nice gesture of him to do. The waitresses would also be attentive of our drinks and if you needed anything. The food was good. Overall I'd give a 5 star rating. This past Saturday, 4/20, I went in for a late dinner. And waited longer then usual at the door to be seated due to no one watching the door or the area. Then when we are seated the waitress seemed to be in a bad mood and did not care to be there. We got our drinks and mine tasted funny. Asked for a different one and she brought it. But I originally asked for no ice and she brought the 2nd one with ice. No big deal but shows her attention to details. Then we waited for almost 30 minutes and my side salad barely came out. Looked great but most of it was wilted on the bottom. As if they made the salad earlier in the day and had it sitting somewhere waiting. It was nasty. Waited a little while longer and nothing. No one came remotely close to the table. Waitress saw me from behind the counter but did not bother coming over. Finally we got up and left. Saw the manager on the way out and told him I was leaving due to the service and long wait for the food and bad salad. And this was not the same manager ive always seen. This was someone new I assume. Might try this place again, but wont be...

Upon entering the diner, I was warmly greeted by one of the waitresses who led me to be seated at one of the booths. This place reminds me of that show that used to air on the Food Network - Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri. The walls was decorated with retro pictures and signs. Definitely takes me back to the 80's or early 90's era. Another waitress came by and asked if I wanted something to drink. After asking for regular coffee with cream, I took a few minutes to overlook the menu. So much to choose from - appetizers, burgers, wraps, pasta dishes, salads, sandwiches, daily specials, etc. When the waitress returned, I gave my order of French toast with sliced bananas, bacon ,and corned beef hash. The food arrived within 15-20 minutes and I couldn't wait to dig in. The coffee was nice & hot, the bacon was crispy, the French toast was very tasty with no egg taste, and the corned beef was nicely cooked and seasoned. The service was satisfactory. The waitress came in a timely manner to check if everything was ok, if I needed anything, or to remove any empty plates in front of me; and Mr. Freeman, who I learned was the General Manager of Moonlite Diner, also comes out and greets the customers, asking if everything was to their liking. Though it was my first time dining here, it would not be my last. I look forward to returning.

Let me start by saying, Tina, our waitress, is absolutely amazing. She is friendly, and attentive and she made our first time here delightful. Moonlight Diner serves comfort food and The best food I have had in a long time. I cannot stop raving about this places. My BF and I decided to give this Diner a try after passing by it a few days earlier. I started with their milkshake of the day, Hot Chocolate Milkshake, and OMG, it tastes just like a cup of hot chocolate. And extra which could not fit in the glass was also served. (I am addicted). For dinner I decided on the chopped steak which was served with mashed potatoes and gravy and mixed vegetables. As I expected the veggies to be plain I asked for seasoning salt/powder to be added, and it was. I have to add, the portion size is huge and the flavor of everything was amazing. I have not had a great tasting chopped steak in ages and this one hits the spot. My BF had the Tuna melt with fries and this too was mouthwatering delicious. A generous amount of tuna which was seasoned, yes, seasoned, filled two large slices of rye bread and the toast on it was perfect. Lastly, the coffee was delicious. Moonlight Diner has gained two more loyal and returning customers.

This was my first visit to this place. I had always wanted to come because of the retro style of the trailer. I enjoyed the ambiance – it's retro, beautiful, and well-maintained. However, the service fell short; despite the place being almost empty (only 3 tables), the waiter was rude (Mora I think), rushing us and pressuring us to order quickly. As a first-time visitor, I would have preferred some time to review the menu, but she didn't even give us 5 minutes and insisted on a swift return of the menu. The service was clearly impolite. When inquiring about the food, I felt uneasy. The little I asked was answered rudely, and it seemed like the waiter didn't have time for us. I wondered if our use of Spanish played a role, as the waiter, who was just starting her shift when we arrived, may not have appreciated it. Despite the subpar service, the food was excellent – tasty, well-presented, and plentiful. It's disappointing that the rushed service prevented us from enjoying a leisurely conversation over coffee.
