I had a few things done at Renees, but… I had a channel white Gold, sapphire, and diamond ring that I wanted to add a large sapphire on the top of it - I picked it up. I didn’t like the settings. These were tiny itty bitty! No way would fit into that ring! They refused to acknowledge their mistake or their thievery, but they stole the diamonds and sapphires from the ring And me tiny little dots! It would cost me hundreds of dollars to repair it to its original state! I wanted to get it back to the original state since my twin sister has the same ring or I wanted the sapphire to be reset! I came in because the pendant from my necklace came off and I wanted to see what could be done. The whole thing was gold plated sterling silver but they didn’t even ask or check before they blow torched it to reattach the pendant. After they ruined the thing they tell me that it’s because it’s not actually gold. No duh i could have told them that and so could the labeling on the necklace and pendant. They decided to go ahead and do the work before even examining the piece and getting my approval. Then they tell me they can fix it by plating that portion in gold. They used some other gold that looked orange and didn’t even match the rest of the necklace and pendant. On top of that they burned the small diamond on the pendant.
