I was the unlucky driver to run a 3-stop Load for this co.. First stop was at this facility in Homewood, AL. Arrived @ 7:35 am on 5/29/24 for a 8am Appt.. Was met in the parking lot by Mike Dozier(called himself the Receiving Mgr). He gave me his contact phone # but later never answered or called me back. Half a dozen times saying I only had 2ea pallets to whom ever came out didn’t resonate with anyone. He explained that earlier there has been what sounded like a gunshot and now they had no power including whole mall complex(that really wasn’t all true, the other businesses had power). This went on all day and finally @ around 2pm power was back on and they started taking deliveries. Unfortunately for me and a few others the dedicated local trucks were taken first even though some had later appts.. I only had 2ea pallets and needed to be up to their Nashville, TN store by noon. Well, that never happened and finally @ 5:08pm was leaving to drive to Restaurant Depot in Nashville,TN to spend night in their parking lot. Woke up @ 6am on 5/30/24 and checked in with receiving people. Same thing there too, they take all local reefer dedicated loads first no matter your appt. time. I had 9ea pallets and got unloaded by 8:25am, not too bad. I thanked the crew and headed over to Restaurant Depot in Memphis, TN. Arrived there @ 11:55am, late for 8am appt. and expected to be worked in. Was met in receiving office by what later was mentioned the receiving manager of Memphis store. He went on to say that they couldn’t receive my 6ea pallets and they received someone else’s frt in my appt slot and now had no room to take my delivery and also that my broker(CH Robinson) had rescheduled for next day. This statement was a lie ! I called my contact and verified if in fact this had happened and it did not. Beware of this outfit as they have some shady business practices, especially in Homewood, AL and Memphis, TN stores. The Nashville, TN facility operates much better and faster and more efficiently not to say more honestly too! Seems the named receiving mgr title is only that, just a title and no authority. Some mentioned a lumper type charge of $80 to $100. I never had to pay at any of my stops and was told not to and that I would not be reimbursed. If you arrive to the Memphis facility better hope you get a Dock or you won’t have space to turnaround and leave. There is an over abundance of pallets lining the outside perimeter of there parking lot that is a mess. Definitely no professionals at that place. Homewood, AL and Memphis, TN are operational dumpster fires. No restroom facilities were scene or offered. Got a Planet Fitness near Homewood, AL that let another driver use so there are some nice and considerate people out there. Probably won’t waste my time doing any hauling for these people again. No bathroom facilities were seen and not offered. Overnighting is definitely doable but not at Memphis, TN. If you want to witness cruelty to mankind this is the company to deliver freight to. P.S.-I’ll add that the 3ea facilities that I did deliver to (Homewood,Nashville and Memphis are all not in very good(safe)neighborhoods. So proceed with caution if you’re running one of their loads to these areas(lock...

I went to cash out and there was a woman standing there, daydreaming or whatever, and I politely asked if she was open...she replied," Would I be standing here if I wasn't?" (Sarcastically). She could have been on break or something. She didn't have to be so rude. Today, I walk in with a smile and in a good mood, well, that quickly left. 7 out of 10 things were not in stock. (Which I understand, that happens). There was an item I needed and it was on the very top shelf. I needed a worker that used a forklift. There was a man on one at The end of the aisle. There was another worker at the end I was on. I asked politely "can you get someone to help me get this item down?" He points at the forklift and says" that's him right there " and he just stood there. He wanted me to go ask, Which would have been fine, but the forklift was driving away. I said I'm not going to run after him and he chuckled and continued doing what he was doing before I walked up. I then went to the cashier and asked her to get me some help. She just stood there, confused. She walked away and came back with I'm assuming a manager. He was no help either. He said the forklift guy is way on the other side of the store and that was it. He did make a small attempt to ask the same guy I asked earlier but he just stood there and they both ended shrugging their shoulders. I said never mind. I'll find it at another store. These are just the last 2 times I've been here. It's EVERYTIME I come here. I wish they would be a little more helpful or at least act like it. They make me feel like I'm asking them to do something that their job doesn't require them to do. Customer service here...
Read moreTRUCKERS AVOID THIS PLACE, Day shift receiving is the worse, short black guy smoking black and mild cigarettes I'm assuming he is the receiving manager really needs more training on how to run a shipping or receiving warehouse. Need to have someone with the mental competence on how to run logistics. Dock area smells like raw sewage with trash all over the ground and on the walk way to the receiving door and flies all over the dock, Dealing with food I'm surprised the health department hasn't paid them a visit, as soon as you open your trailer doors the flies swarm the entire trailer. They are very slow to unload the trailer of the products that they have ordered and need to stock their shelves. DAY SHIFT RECEIVING NEEDS A LOT WORK, truckers have a clock that they have to abide by all 50 states and our time is very important. DRIVERS YOU HAVE...
