CVS — Local services in Honesdale

My younger brother had gone into the store looking for a game he could get to bring up to my work, while there a middle aged women continued to follow him around the store and proceeded to tell anoth employ to “keep eyes on him” once he had found a game and went to check out the same woman told him to leave his stuff and “take a hike” and continued to accuse him of stealing. He was very upset about this (being a kid and all) I’m not sure if they decided he was “stealing” (which he has never done, he’s the sweetest boy you’d ever meet) because he was young, or because he was young and assumed he didn’t have money (which I sent him down with) being a resident of Honesdale and having him treated like that was completely unnecessary and wrong. She could have handled it much better then she did and again, he hasn’t...

Michelle is the rudest employee I have ever encountered in a customer service position. This is the second time she has behaved in an unprofessional, unhelpful, and condescending manner towards me while I was attempting to check out. In both instances, she could have easily solved the challenge at hand, but refused to both times. Both times, management had to step in (Brenda is lovely). In the first instance, Michelle actually clocked out and left in the middle of her shift when she was held accountable in front of management. Today, she simply walked away and refused to help me solve a very easy coupon related issue. Hopefully, she receives some disciplinary action and/or coaching soon as the fact that she is allowed to treat customers this way is appalling. I say this as someone who spent years in...

I have used this CVS for over twenty years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The pharmacy is excellent and go above and beyond to help you. Yes there has been some problems with miscommunication but it is very rare and is expected with how long i have been with them. My son has diabetes so we are there a lot and the little problems i have had was mistakes made because not all employees are perfect. The only thing i can really say is the company is a little greedy with keeping staff low. At times i have felt really bad for them. There will be only two people and they are trying to run the drive thru, the counter, phones, customer service, and putting away prescriptions in there proper place.
