Java & More — Restaurant in Honesdale

This is literally just a liquor store????? And they have gambling machines everywhere. It said “open” and the door was indeed open but when I peered inside the lights were off and no one was at the counter. I’m not sure which part of this establishment is supposed to serve coffee. There was a gentleman on the patio who I presume worked there, who looked at us the entire time and did not budge from his seat. The place smelled like mold. My husband and I were in the area for our anniversary & I decided I wanted a coffee. I looked forward to supporting local. I went on Google & did some searching & was excited when I found this place. Drive the 20 minutes from Hawley only to walk in & be told by the person working there that she did not know how to make anything. "Only thing I can sell you is alcohol." Stopped in first time, told their coffee machine is broken as has been for a few months, sorry but if you advertise you can make all styles of coffee, think you might want a working machine. Couldn't get a Espresso, Cappuccino, or even any kind of latte. Got a plain coffee for about $2.50 in a small cup filled about 70% of the cup, and the coffee wasn't even drinkable, thick and burnt!!
