I purchased "in-store" a Refridgerator on May 16, 2021. The first delivery date available was June 30, 2021 (1 1/2 months later). Okay, I accepted that date. 2 days before the delivery date, I get a text that says the delivery date was changed to Aug. 18, 2021 (that's 3 months after my in-store purchase). I called the 1-800 delivery customer service number to find why was the date delivery date changed. Their explanation was that "it's on back order because people purchase refridgerators all over the USA from Home Depot, people before me are getting their refridgerators first". OMG, seriously? So, I decided to call the actual store (Iwilei Home Depot) regarding this situation. I wanted to know what other refridgerators they have available, in stock, in their warehouse here on the island. After talking to the automated voice thing, I sat on hold for 1/2 hour waiting for someone to pick up. Finally I just gave up, and hung up. Home Depot truely sucks when it comes to purchasing appliances of any type. This is the 2nd time I have issues when purchasing an appliance. The first time was when I purchased a stove. It got delivered, but it was the wrong size (note: I gave the guy at the store the dimensions that the stove will be put in and he said this stove will fit there, WRONG! ). The stove was still in it's packaging on a crate. It was never un-crated. It was just dropped off in my living room. I called 3 days later to inquire about a returning it for a refund. They said NO, they have a 2 day refund window after delivery. After arguing and going back and forth talking to associates on the phone for over a weeks time period, I finally got a refund. Whew, that was an ordeal. For now, I'm going to ask for a REFUND, since I still haven't gotten the fridge delivered yet. Then, I'll be heading over to LOWES instead!! NEVER EVER, WILL I PURCHASE ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROME HOME-DEPOT..... BEWARE - IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING APPLIANCES....YOU WILL BE...

My experience with my kitchen remodeling has been a nightmare. Our kitchen representative Hallie ordered our cabinets. However, she failed to mention the cabinets will not be customized to fit our kitchen layout. I'm not a kitchen remodeling expert. Yet, even I would think this should have been explained. My husband and I waited 4 to 5 months before any installation took place, and when they finally came in to install was when we found out the cabinets where not custom built for our kitchen layout. If anyone would like to see just how messed up the cabinets turned out to be please reply to this and I will provide pictures. Also, home depot had to provide us with a different contractor because their first contractor dropped them and refused to work with home depot. The contractors we have now are at no fault for this nightmare. As a matter of fact if it wasn't for the contractors we would have no counter tops or sink, even though temporary, home depot would have left us without a sink or temporary countertop for the next 2 to 3 months, because without a solution for our already paid for cabinets they can't measure for our already paid for countertops. Our only salvation is coming from the contractors, because they agreed to custom build our cabinets. However, although a solution, this will render warranty on the cabinets useless. A hit that we as a consumer must take now. In discussing the measurement with supposedly home depot's kitchen remodel expert Hallie, an argument erupted because she had the audacity to yell at me and blatantly lying about informing my husband and I about the cabinets not being able to be custom built for our kitchen. Who in their right mind would agree to such an awful layout for a kitchen? Hallie did not provide us with any copies of our layout. I feel like a complete fool thinking I could trust someone else to...

Do not purchase appliances from Home Depot. I've had the worst experience EVER! I went online and purchased a stove and fridge on 11/10/20. Both items were just placed on sale and both showed as in stock. I get a delivery date of 10 days. Two days before the scheduled delivery I get a phone call that says "sorry your delivery is now changed to 12/5/20. At this point I'm already upset. Fine ok we wait...Again two days before the scheduled delivery I happen to look online and now the date is 12/10/20. I didn't even get a call or email. Had I not looked online I wouldn't have known. Today 12/08/20 I get a message that says "sorry your delivery date is now 03/02/2021. Are you kidding me???? You're telling me that I'm going to have to wait 4 months to get my items and even then it's still a MAYBE?. I called Home Depot and Samsung the distributor. Samsung's answer was basically FU too bad. Home Depot's answer was well once we give the order to them it's out of our hands. Really? That's the experience and support you want your customers to have? Spending several thousand dollars and you say oh well sorry it's not our fault. Here's where it gets better. They told me , well we can find another product for you that's similar. If it costs more you're just going to have to pay for the difference. UHHH....bait and switch much? You put a product on sale that you don't even have....that also showed as in stock....then tell me well you can take your chances and wait 4 months....or pay more money to get something similar sooner.

NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT. They'll take your money and don't give a rat's backside how you're affected in the mean time. I also love how their social media doesn't allow people to post comments on their page....hmmm...

Laughable how ridiculously unhelpful customer service is. I needed a jump starter for my car and went in two weeks ago. I brought one to the counter and asked about the condition of the box since it looked tattered and like it had been aggressively opened. They reassured me a customer only peeked inside and it was fine. I took it home and it wouldn’t charge for 3 days. I brought it back (THANKFULLY my car didn’t die in the meantime) and explained what had happened. They offered to give me a slight discount on a similar item since mine was out of stock, but that was it. No one was willing to be sympathetic to the fact that THEY sold me a defective product, and everyone involved is lucky I didn’t find myself stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery I bought from them. After the return the manager and another worker were whispering something and made a mocking and rude comment about someone I would assume was a customer. (Along the lines of “Well see ya then!”) Timing was terrible and I’m not sure if it was about me or not, but not okay regardless. Not coming back. Peak level incompetence.

Great Selection and Helpful Staff at Home Depot Kapolei: I've been a regular customer at Home Depot Kapolei for several years, and I'm always impressed with the wide selection of products they offer. Whether I'm working on a home improvement project or just need some basic supplies, I can usually find everything I need here. The store is well-organized and easy to navigate, which makes shopping a breeze. The staff at Home Depot Kapolei are always friendly and willing to help. I've had some great experiences with employees who went out of their way to assist me with my projects. The curbside pickup service is also very convenient, especially when I'm in a hurry. One area for improvement would be the checkout lines, which can get quite long during peak hours. However, overall, I would highly recommend this Home Depot to anyone in the Kapolei area. It's a reliable and well-stocked store with a helpful and knowledgeable staff.

We stopped by to get a bathroom vanity with integrated counter and sink as our old one finally gave up the ghost. On that day, the selection for 30 inch vanity was minimal. We ended up purchasing the Glacier Bay #631264. I wasn't going to be too picky because this was to be a temporary for a couple years until a whole home remodel rolls around. While I did purchase this unit for $139, the construction quality makes me feel that was too high a price. I knew it was made from MDF but didn't know the entire box is held together by staples and plastic corner brackets. I'm not saying this is junk but you do get what you pay for. The vanity does look attractive and does appear to be a quality product but that appearance is only skin deep.
