Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Hoover

I called the Hoover location today around 10 am to have a cake ready for my wife’s birthday later during the afternoon. I made the order under my name and I paid for the cake at the end of the call. When my wife goes to the store around 4 pm to get her cake she is told by a lady that there was not order under my name in neither Hoover or Summit location. My wife comes back home confused about what happened so I decided to call the store again. The same lady that took my order in the morning answers the phone and confirms that my order was taken. She was also the same person that spoke with my wife in person. I could not understand why she would not give the cake to my wife so I just requested a refund. Just picked up my dozen bundtlets. I discovered Nothing bundt Cakes last month and thought it was a great idea to give to my clients. The cakes are great and the clients love them. My assistant makes cards and ribbons for each little package. I like to go above and beyond for my clients. My assistant gave me a coupon for a free bundtlet and I told her I would get it for her. It took her 15 mins to figure out which flavor and she settled on the Pecan Praline. Because I ordered online and the amount was already totaled online I couldn't get my free bundtlet, but I just bought a dozen and I don't believe it's my fault that online doesn't accommodate coupons. This place is really good, but I must explain the two stars. I visited this place with my family yesterday. They had samples of their lemon cake out and they were super delicious. So I purchased a small lemon bundt cake. I was super excited to get back home (which is in Tuscaloosa) to partake in this treat. I opened the cake and attempted to dig in only to find a dark, long, straight hair in my package along with my cake. The experience was ruined. I loved those samples and was really looking forward to eating the cake I purchased, but couldn’t. I really like this place, but hygiene plays a big part in the success of businesses like this.
