Cavalier Square — Local services in Hopewell

The only reason I'm rating Cavalier Square as a whole only three stars instead of five is because there are a lot of drug dealings going on in the open in the parking lot of cavalier Square every single time I have ever been there they are very easily seen and act as if they do not care whether they are or not. A low rating also because of the upkeep of the buildings and parking lot. Not sure whether or not this falls on the owners of each specific company or if it falls on the city of Hopewell as a whole Shopping Center but definite maintenance is needed. If not for those two things because of the wide variety of stores that are within Cavalier Square which include several different types of eating establishments it gives everyone a great choice for shopping. The pricing at every one of the options within Cavalier Square are also in means. I could probably start at one shop and make my way all the way around Cavaliers Square and purchase items at every single shop and by the time I was done could have more than likely stayed within a range of $200 to $300 and this would also include a stop at the grocery store as well. Worst Shopping Center I've been to. Save alot=super market that sells rotten fruits and vegetable, old meat. Their tuna ranked. Can't even get tuna right. Aldis is cheaper and better quality. Rose= low quality things. Bed sheets get scruffy after one wash. Iphone charger break after one month. Scent candles that has no scent after a few feet. Shabby clothes that belong in donation box not a store. You get what you pay for and in this case it isnt much. Cheaper and better at Walmart and JCpenny. Dollar Tree=typical store but very long lines. Expect to wait 15 minutes. I waited only a minute at one on Oaklawn dr. BBQ place= only place I'd give three stars. Food is mediocre but the service is great.

Dragon Palace makes the best hot and sour soup around. Dark, rich and full flavored. It has lots of mushrooms and melt in your mouth pork. Made fresh to order every time! 8/6/17- I am changing my review, originally 5 stars, to 3. In the past couple of weeks, they began using black pepper (heavily), to season their hot and sour soup. I will search elsewhere for the ideal hot and sour, and I will let you know when (if) I find it.
