Because of this place I decided not to buy a property right around the corner. It is an eye sore for the neighborhood a source of safety concerns and city rules are not enforced. I’ve seen individuals lounging and drinking in the back of the place. I’m pretty sure illicit transactions go on in the premises as well. I’m not sure if the owners ever see these reviews, if they don’t hopefully somebody will bring it to their attention. If they do, they should take responsibility and action. Maybe clean up the place, give a new face, put a fence towards the back and reenforce the rules. This place has cleaned WAY up from the previous owners. They have the same cold drinks and smokes on the go, but now their taco deli is Much cleaner and stays open well into the afternoon. Aisles are clean and organized, easy to navigate, and looks like more selections on candy and salty snacks. Ive lived 3 blocks away for 10 years, and the previous store fell on hard times. New manager Reuben runs a tight ship, and saved my life by actually selling me a single postage stamp! He is friendly and proud of his new store.
