My first time at Evolve I booked with Aliza and got Dysport. She was very critical and insulting. I didn’t see any noticeable difference in the weeks after my appointment but I decided to come back and try Botox this time with Evalyn. I was excited to book with her because I like her work online but I wasn’t at all happy with my experience.
After paying my deposit they randomly charged my card again for another $100 without asking me first. Then on the day of my appointment she was over an hour late (I understand previous appts. run behind but there was no acknowledgement of my sitting in an empty room for her for an hour).
I told her where I wanted Botox and explained that I was still new to it so I didn’t want a lot. She left the room to measure the Botox so that I couldn’t see how much product she was planning on using. She was about to start injecting before going over a map or treatment plan with me. I had to stop her to ask how many units she was using. She was obviously annoyed that I asked her to go over this with me (more annoyed that I didn’t want as many as she said we should use) and she started talking a mile a minute to convince me that I needed more.
It felt like she was rushing through it so that I’d get confused and just say yes to what she wanted to do. It shouldn’t be an inconvenience to discuss how many units you plan on injecting into someone’s face.
**I wanted to add that Ruth the PA and a nurse who checked me in were very kind, but the owner was not pleasant. I can see why other reviews say she gives off mean girl energy.
Thankfully I found a different med spa in the galleria and the nurse injector is very sweet and genuine. She does a much better job of taking her time with you and going over a detailed plan of treatment before starting. I would have been much happier with my experience at Evolve if Evalyn did a better job of taking her time with me instead of rushing through it and...
Read moreIt has been nearly a year, and I am still suffering the consequences of getting my lips done at Evolve Aesthetics. My first experience in 2023 with Aliza was great—minimal bruising, no issues, and I was happy with my results. At the time, Evalyn was present, observing or possibly training during the procedure.
I returned in April 2024 for another appointment, this time with Ruth, a new injector at Evolve. Evalyn was not present. During the procedure, I experienced excessive bleeding, and Ruth applied intense pressure while massaging my lips. Immediately after, I had extreme bruising, far worse than my previous experience, despite following all recommended aftercare steps. Soon after, I noticed 2-3 large lumps near my Cupid’s bow, leaving my top lip uneven and lacking definition.
I gave it two weeks before reaching out to their team, hoping the swelling would subside. However, my lips remained lumpy and uneven, making me feel incredibly self-conscious. I was so embarrassed with not only the insane bruising but I also had big lumpy uneven lips on top of that. At my follow-up, Evalyn had to dissolve the filler—a painful process I never expected to go through. I felt rushed, dismissed, and even blamed for the outcome, despite it clearly being an injector error. I was advised to come back and redo the filler, but that meant losing the $700 I had already spent and paying again to fix an issue that wasn’t my fault.
Now, nearly a year later, my top lip is still uneven, and I feel insecure every time I see a photo of myself. It’s frustrating to watch Evolve showcase perfect results on social media when my experience was the...
Read moreThis place is so shady. As soon as you have a negative experience with them, their customer service disappears and all your questions go unanswered. Forget a refund, you won’t even get answers as to why the service they provided you with was botched. This place is only interested in maintaining their image and taking money. My experience with the treatment I received wasn’t even that bad, but the way they handled everything afterwards was so awful that it left me feeling stressed and insecure, the opposite of what a “spa” is supposed to do.
Every question I had was deflected and they tried to gaslight me into believing that I was at fault for their mistakes. They are incredibly unprofessional and refuse to compromise for a solution if it doesn’t work in their favor. Not only that, but these reviews are obviously padded to make them look good. I’m sure another few good reviews will appear shortly after I post this to keep their average rating high.
To whoever is in charge of responding to these reviews, I hope that for once you can respect the wishes of the customer and don’t bother giving some generic reply asking me to contact you to “resolve” anything. My only interest in leaving this review is warning people that there is something off about this place, and you are better off taking your money somewhere with better and more honest...
