C & R Beauty Supply — Local services in Houston

So begins my story: I was in crisis at 7:30 p.m. I was having a literal heat stroke from a 27 inch wig with bangs that was getting caught up in my new prescription Lensmart glasses because the bangs were way too long and we're getting stuck in the hinges and the teardrop gemstones.

By the end of my work day the under hair on my Amazon Wig (I paid more for it than this one!) was also in a crisis. Luckily I found C& R Beauty Supply 0.2 miles from my shop who were able to fit me with EXACTLY what I wanted in under 5 minutes.

They have prices for all of us. From expensive to affordable, if you need it they have it. I had the unique pleasure of being serviced by Demi. You will know her because she 100% looks like a demigoddess, if demigoddesses were real (who's to say they're not real and they've just been snatched up by C& R?! Like isn't that the goal of a demigoddess??? To help people?)

And let me just tell you to just go ahead and walk down the eyelash aisle before you go to the back to look at the wigs because you can just skip that eyelash appointment this week and get something 10 times more fuller and 10 times cheaper (don't forget your glue).

I've been wearing wigs since 2010 "before it was cool" (Ohio) and let me tell you they have some of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever seen. That's right. I call good wigs works of art, and their wigs & hair pieces are just that: ART (yes I am aware that they are just ordered, but somebody orders them, and they are picking trend setting pieces (Keep reading).

...and I swear on everything that is holy if any of you touch that Platinum blonde straight one with the light rainbow highlights that is on the right sidewall before I get to it I'm going to be so salty (it's unique, you cant miss it, because it's right by the neon rainbow straight sister wig. Jk.) I'm assuming that one is a big seller because it would look fabulous at the club under the lights or just out and about.

Anyway I want to talk about why I chose this wig: adjustability. The first thing I told Demi (my Demigoddess) was "I have a big head & I need something that's going to be comfortable and that isn't going to slide off or whatever, and I need it bleach blonde and I need bangs to cover the scar on my forehead." The first one she picked out was perfection but it was like one of those super duper fancy types of wigs where you can like do a perm in it, you can dye it and it was only $84. Unfortunately my budget was for under $40. And guess what? She turned around and got another one and that was the winner that you see in my picture. I was not disappointed at all. In fact I think this one fits even better!!!

I am so happy with this wig because as Demi suggested I could do a swoop bang because of my and she was right! It looks absolutely phenomenal! Now I could do just straight bangs too but I love the swoop look.

And to those folks who are intimidated by the idea of going into a hair store, stop it. Just stop it right now because everybody deserves a good wig/hairpiece/extensions/makeup /Etc.

You're missing out on one of the funnest things of life if you don't participate in wigs and altering your appearance even just for a night. And don't think they forgot you if you are on the masculine side folks, they got all sorts of stuff for you. I was about to take my husband back in there myself nut Sadly they're already closed at 8:00.

Anyway I just want to thank the owners or owner at C& R for hiring and keeping such a good staff. I will be back because of the wig but I will definitely be back because of your staff.

DEAR MANAGEMENT,

I wanted to say a special thank you to the two employees working today (about 6pm Monday Feb. 22). They went above and beyond what 90% of people would do for another human being. (I was being harassed in the parking lot. They let me stay in their store, offered me water, and made sure I got to my car safely.) They were BEYOND kind (I was a perfect stranger)! I sincerely hope they get recognized for their efforts by management. If not for that, then at least for their very neatly kept, and pristine store they manage. While I was waiting in there, both employees were stocking shelves and cleaning. I have not seen are more clean and organized store in quite some time. I would highly recommend anyone go there, and I will continue to make management aware after amazing work, and personalities. They deserve a raise more so than anyone I have ever met! People like that are hard to find ... to have employees like that,...
