Two stars given as the manager tried to recover it. Got the drink and the sandwich i wanted. Quick and friendly service from the manager. When i finished the MW i had, i went over and asked for a refill of iced tea. Per SB policy show on the follow SB webpage: (Google "Starbucks Refill Policy") How do the free refills on brewed or iced coffee or tea work? Published 09/04/2012 04:22 PM | Updated 07/10/2015 02:23 PM My Starbucks Rewards® members at Green and Gold levels are eligible for free refills on brewed or iced coffee or tea beverages of the same size (some restrictions apply), regardless of the original beverage purchased, while they are in a participating Starbucks ® or Teavana® stores. Once you leave the store, your visit has ended and any subsequent coffee or tea refill thereafter would be considered a new purchase. The barista indicated that refill only works if you request a refill on the drink that you have (ie, coffee or tea) but if you were to have a hand crafted drink, then sorry, the refill would not work. This is clearly in disagreement with the refill policy shown above. This discussion went on for about 10 minutes before the barista asked the manager to come out to speak with me. The manager tried to recover after reading the policy and agreed that the original refill can be request regardless of the original beverage purchased. She kindly request the barista to make the iced green tea with no ice and no sweetener. The barista made it with ice (did not taste it so do not know if it had sweetener) The attitude of the barista was not friendly at all, the barista either did not want to read their own policy or after reading the policy determined that the policy is not what they were going to follow. At the end I inform the manager that I appreciate her gesture, but the drink was made wrong with ice in it. I left the drink and left the store. In general a bad experience. Baristas should be informed of the new policy or have policy update session regularly. Kudos to the manager trying to recover. (this gets a bonus star, otherwise it would have...
Read moreI rarely give 1 star review but I’m super pissed about the situation this morning. I ordered on the app at 8:40. And I arrived at 8:55AM. Before my arrival, on the app it said ordered is completed at 8:53AM. However, when I arrived, it said the drink was out of the nondairy milk and so the drink wasn’t made even tho the app said “completed”. I was so in a rush to work and that’s why I ordered a head of times on the app so I don’t have to wait. I came in and my cheese darnish was cold and hard. I have to wait 5 more minutes for my drink and it just pissed me off about situation. And I was late to work. When I ordered a head of time, I have my reason for it and please be respectful of my times because I’m a loyal customer to this location and I ordered every morning. And if the order isn’t to be put on the app to be completed, I would still be mindful and wait but the fact on the app said it was completed and I still have to wait for my drink. And it ruined my...
Read moreOur usual Starbucks is closed for renovations and we visited this one instead. There was a long line inside moving extremely slow. It was busy, but there were 7 people behind the counter and did not seem to be working like the kind of well oiled machine we are used to seeing at other stores. We'll probably give them another try since we've been here before when it was empty and they were nice. For Starbucks however moving big crowds fast keeps folks visiting knowing that a long line is not a detractor, so maybe that's why it felt this visit only deserved 4 stars, it was not as fast as I've seen elsewhere. My picture is deceiving as the line cleared because no one went in there after us. I think priority is given to the drive-thru at this location as it is...
