Dream Kpop — Local services in Houston

Went to Houston for the TXT concert 2024 and Taemin’s concert 2025, and ABSOLUTELY made the trip to this store in our free time. I’m from Dallas and the only stores with half the size of the this store’s inventory is like an hour away in Carrollton, but it’s the atmosphere and the friendly conversations with the store owner that will make me take the 4 hour trip to Houston just to go to this store. You don’t really get that from the stores in Carrollton, and every employee watches you like a hawk to prevent people stealing since there’s been many instances, and this store feels more at home and less pressure to buy something just to get away from people watching you😭 idk if it’s cause I’m more introverted but my extrovert friend feels the same and we’ve came here plenty of times just for the vibe and to see what new things they have. Overall this place is everything i dream of, extremely lowkey, quiet and peaceful but also very friendly...

Dream Kpop is my favorite Kpop store in Houston, because the owner is so nice and helpful and knowledgeable about Kpop, and his prices are always great, too!

If he doesn't have something in stock, he will check if he can add it to his next shipment for no extra charge to you! (And he usually can -- he even got me Jay Park's album from 4 years ago and HOTSHOT's debut album from 2014!) And he'll suggest things based on what he notices you like, such as a special repackage that's coming out soon for a group you've shown interest in. He'll reserve things for you for free if you message him on Instagram.

And he often throws in little freebies when you buy something significant, like if you get an album, he'll usually let you pick a sticker sheet for free! And there's more than just albums -- he's got gift bags, posters, socks, keychains, pillows, clocks, lanyards, stationery (markers/pens/sticky notes, etc.), magnets,...

I've visited 3 times so far and am planning to go again soon, I feel more determined to become a loyal customer each time. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is super helpful and approachable, easy to ask him with help about finding something. I've been able to get my hands on some albums I was surprised to find! I spend a slightly irresponsible amount of money each time I come here but it's hard to resist with the good selection and prices. The store is a little small/cramped but it's not a big deal because every inch is packed with products. I definitely would reccommend. // Updating, have visited countless times now with my close friends.
