Shan hu — Restaurant in Houston

Went there since we missed the "3 o'clock" close time for Paik's noodle place. We had a very little expectation hoping that we would be happy if the food were half good as Paik's. Unexpectedly, their Black bean noodles were actually better than Paik's and Tangshuyuk was also one of the best I've tried in US. I wasn't planning to eat while in H-Mart but a downpour of rain changed my mind. I had the beef & broccoli with steamed rice. The service was friendly & the portion was pretty good for the price which just edged this from a 3 to 4 star review. The broccoli was cooked perfectly but the sauce was pretty bland. Most restaurants serve their jajangmyun on the sweeter side, bleh--but this one thankfully makes it the original way. It's one of the dishes their known for.
