I don’t remember how I stumbled on to Driveo, because I’d never heard of them, but I quickly saw the high reviews so I decided to make the trek from Sugarland to the Katy freeway to see what they were all about. My dad had passed and left me a beautifully loaded, luxury Ram truck that was hard to part with but…It was like having a great dog and never taking it for a walk. I had my own vehicle and so I was shifting back and forth, trying to drive both so neither would be parked for long periods. And, I was attached to this truck not only because it was the last thing I had of my dad’s but I also loved driving this truck. It was hard to let it go of but it needed a better life than what I could give it. So, I made the decision to sell it and I first met with CarMax. (Worst, unexpected experience and lower offer than Driveo). As for Carvana, I couldn’t even get a real person to talk to because they’re completely automated on line! (no thanks, I want to talk to a human). So, I am really glad I stumbled onto Driveo. At first, I didn’t realize they were inside a dealership and I probably wouldn’t have gone much further had I known that – but, don’t let that stop you from checking them out!! I got offers from other dealerships but meeting with Driveo was the best experience I could have ever envisioned in selling my vehicle, and I got the highest offer from them than anyone. Sure, I probably could have made a little more money had I tried to sell on my own, but the extra amount I would have gotten would not have been worth the hassle, stress and details that Driveo handles for you. You don’t have to worry about the right paperwork, the legal actions to take, meeting strangers or scammers to test drive your vehicle and the time it takes to do all that. I made an appt and ended up meeting with Jess. She was on time and she was fantastic to work with; it was a very quick process and a positive experience! First, she understood the emotional connection I had with the truck (they even took time to remove a military emblem for me from the tailgate as my dad was a US Marine Vet). She offered to try to get a better price than the quote I got online, which she accomplished. She was patient when I had to reschedule the appt. and when I got there in person, I quickly recognized I was working with a friendly professional. Jess has excellent customer service skills; she is a delight to meet with and she does not lollygag around or waste time. She is a hard worker, was honest about any possible delays, but truly kept everything moving as well as kept me abreast of the status of things, etc. Jess is knowledgeable and very good at what she does. She walked me thru each step and explained everything and was happy to answer any questions I had. Once you make that decision to sell with them, they make it clear the items you need to bring with you and then it takes no time to complete everything. You’ll even receive texts with updates, confirmations and clear instructions throughout the process. In the end, you not only get a check, but you also get a checklist of miscellaneous items for you to follow-up on such as notifying the DMV or your Insurance Company that you no longer own the vehicle. And finally, how do you get home now that you’ve sold your vehicle? Driveo takes care of that too and gives you a free Uber ride to your front door; it’s a complete service. I recently sold my 2017 Camry to Driveo located inside a Mac Haik Dodge dealership. This is my honest review. If you are looking to sell your car for a fair price without having to deal with the actual work that goes into selling a car by yourself then this is for you.

I had been thinking about selling my car for about a year when I finally realized that my car was only taking up space. It became a chore to drive it around for the sake of driving it. I recently became a mom of 2 under 2 and our family car was the car that was getting all the love. So I knew it was time to let my college car go, to make space for growth.

Anyways, my experience at Driveo was great! Before I decided to go ahead with Driveo I compared different offers across the major car buying services. All the offers were not too far from each other but their offer did come in first by a couple hundred dollars. With that in mind what really made me go ahead and want to sell my car with them were the people that worked there. They reached out to me with honesty, which is very important to me. Let’s be honest for a second, going through a car buying service you’re not going to get the most money for your car. At the same time, if you don’t have the time energy or the desire to want to sell your car, this is a solid choice. You will get a fair price and in exchange they will make a bit of a profit by doing work to your vehicle and spending the time and energy to sell it. I didn’t have to worry about cleaning my car out detailing it or fixing the passenger side window that didn’t come up.

Their costumer service is all good energy! Working with Krystin and Jess was very easy. They were patient, kind, answered all my questions, and most importantly worked around my busy schedule.
