Usually my favorite Taco Bell in my area but today was a bad experience. I went inside to order thinking I can go to the register as before the pandemic and a little after. When I went in there were two employees sitting at a table. Neither one said hello. The boy who was there stood up fast and started walking behind the register. I thought he was about to take my order but he was doing a drive thru order. Then I thought he would go tell someone that I was waiting up front. No one even looked at me or said anything for FIVE minutes (Iwas trying to be patient a d not get an attitude). Then I asked if anyone was working the front register. FINALLY, the female who was sitting at the table said that I had to use the kiosk, which had a card machine. I asked thw girl if there was a way it accepted cash. She told me that when I finish ordering on the kiosk to go up to the front register (where I was being ignored already) and tell them I ordered and then I could pay for it. It seemed a bit redundant but I just told her "okay." Then I asked her how do i order the party pack tacos because i wasn't famiiar with the kiosk. She said, "I don't know." She didn't even get up out of her seat to even LOOK at the kiosk to try to help me out. So I told her that's okay and I left. Whoever owns this location PLEASE hire people who actually want to work and help the customers. This was poor customer service all the way round. I just went to the other Taco Bell on Cullen and Wilmington and got my order in the drive thru. Better customer service here also.
UPDATE: I went to the TB at 7540 Bellfort Ave. in Houston, TX 77061 on September 4, 2022. It was 10:38 a.m. and the doors were locked. One of the employees, a female with short braids, told me that they were only taking orders in the drive thru BUT I was free to dine in, I just couldn't order inside. I found that strange because why would you let people sit inside to eat but couldn't order inside? I told her I don't use my debit card in the drive thru but I will be back in a few minutes with cash from the ATM. A few minutes later, about 10:47 a.m, I went in the drive thru to order. The same female claimed that she was locked out of the store and had grabbed the wrong keys when she went outside. Why she decided to go outside was strange. Especially since she claimed she was the only one at the store at the time. And how she got locked out is strange also since the doors don't automatically lock when closed. They have to be locked manually. And if she got the wrong set of keys, then who locked her out of the store? So many strange things happening that did not make sense. I ended up going to the very nice and clean Taco Bell 10 miles away on Fuqua since I despise the...
Read moreSadly, I presently live in this putrid area of town, and had foolishly decided to eat at this restaurant. The staff that I've encountered, God bless them, have been super nice and professional. Unfortunately for them, the manager in charge of making sure their restaurant is stocked with the very basic staples and ingredients the give the place it's name, is failing miserably. My first visit, I was informed that they were out of ground beef. I thought that was pretty funny, considering what's in a Taco Bell taco. My second, and final, trip was exponentially worse. I'm willing to bet that once the bonehead realizes that they're going to be out of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and basically every drink served out of the soda fountain, as they were this evening, he/she tucks tail and vanishes, leaving the rest of the crew with the dreaded task of explaining this mess to each and every customer that shows up.
Another thing worth mentioning would be the unidentifiable stench, coupled with smoke billowing from the kitchen where our food was being prepared, out the drive through window and into our car.
My girlfriend continues to ask me if she will fall I'll from having eaten this food.
If you have the opportunity to eat here, please don't do it. Less than five hundred feet away is a Chevron gas station with a freezer full of burritos that put anything made from this Taco Bell to shame. Even the local homeless community turns their nose up at the mention of this restaurant. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different Taco Bell if you wish to be served items from the...
Read moreI went to this taco bell and ordered 2 spicy double steak grilled cheese burritos one no sour cream and a bean and cheese burrito no onion I get up to the window and pay and then am told to pull up to wait for my order as are the 2 cars behind me I get my order, pleased with the expedient service and go home to share it with my boyfriend. When we get home and look at our burritos the cheese on top is not grilled at all and stuck to the paper. So we decided to take them back. We drove back to this same taco bell with the burritos and the ticket and told the speaker what happened and they told us to pull up. At the window the attendant asked the problem then said he'd remake them, which was great. But then came back and said they didn't have anymore steak so it'd have to be chicken. So we asked for our money back. Which the staff didn't seem to understand our problem coming up to the window telling/showing us there was no sour cream on one. And then they asked us to pull forward to wait on our money back. When we refused to pull up for our refund the window attendant threw his headset off and stormed out and the lady from the kitchen came and told us to pull up too. If your times are more important than your food quality you have a problem You're already cheating times by sending...
