I'm reviewing both the castle and the security guard.

The castle is okay, way too crowded on the weekends, so come on the weekday.

It's mostly plastic of course, but on Sunday there was no cleaning done during the 30 or so mins the granddaughter was playing. I get that it won't be germ free, just would be nice to see someone going around with some rags and sanitizer to wipe off the play area.

If you've got one under 3 then you'll definitely need to stay with them. My 2 year old would have been trampled, pushed, and knocked down without me with her. Too many parents sitting down and not paying attention to the older kids.

Now to the older security guard working the line and letting folks in and out.

I watched him physically hold people back that were in line, like anyone was pushing or shoving to get in? You policed the stools more than anything else. I watched him tell two different people, both looked to be grandparents, they couldn't sit in the stools. There are ten stools and there was never more than 3 or 4 occupied by parents helping the kids take off shoes.

I get that it COULD have gotten busier, but it didn't, and there were always empty stools.

I'm sure that's what he was told to do, but common sense says that if there are plenty of empty stools, just let the old people sit there for a while.

Evidently there is no rhyme or reason to the amount of people in at one time.

He would let it almost empty out and then let in two dozen people one time. Then he'd let out two and let two go in. So it would go from packed to empty to packed.

I'd also suggest that since that's an emptier area, the mall needs to put more seating down where Sears used to be. It just has plants in front of it, utilize the space already and not for...

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST AUTISTIC PEOPLE. me and my autistic son came here 04-03-25 @1pm. my son was stimming out of excitement, and before we can walk in this security guard stopped me and said he needs to check his height, so we do he was the max height, but he was not over the limit at all. so he said my son can't play in there. he needs to just sit down. I told him that's ridiculous to make a small child with a disability to sit down the whole time. he stims, his IQ is low, he has low comprehension. my son doesn't even speak, he's not a threat to anyone. we went in I was trying to get him to sit there and this security guard is literally keeping a sharp eye on him and me, it made me very uncomfortable! so he went in there to tell me to get my son and I told him to leave me alone my son has a disability I can't control him fully, and he told me to get out. and as I'm trying to get my son he's over there calling back up because I told him to leave me alone. he's calling back up as if we are a threat to him. we were in there for like 5 minutes tops and that was our first time being in there ever. I was so disappointed. I strongly believe this security guard did not want my son in there with the other kids or something. because his height was fine. This security guard was doing way too much at a children's play area. He was extremely rude, and he did not care either. I called the mall to report this issue, I spoke to a woman named summer, she took my info but I have not received a call back from anyone. We will never go back to this place and I will keep spreading awareness of autism , because people like that...

I have two kids and one of them is a little over 48 inches tall and he was told not to play.... by the security... and my kid could not understand WHY ??? He wasn't allowed to play and I told him because he's a little to tall...which you know....a Little kid can't understand why he can't play with his brother??..because he's a little bit tall??? What a DUMB rule if you have a baby section and a section for older kids that are almost 6....why can't he play in the castle where mostly all bigger kids go in.... They should change it to no kids over 10 or 11 should play... because kids are kids and it's like my kid is forced to grow up and sit there with the adults... that's why kids can't be kids anymore and people WONDER WHY they grow up TOO fast AND ITS because of RULES like this in this play area!!!!.Who ever made this rule surly does NOT have kids...!!!.but to me it is sad to hear my little boy say to me..."Mommy...Why can't I go play...mommy??Why??" With a sad little face and confused...and I just have to say...because the security said you can't because your a little bit...
