Working with Katie from Katie K. Interiors was an absolute joy! She helped us design three kids’ bedrooms, a game room, and a media room — and every single space turned out better than we could have imagined.

From the very beginning, Katie was incredibly communicative, professional, and thoughtful. She took the time to really get to know each of our kid's interests and preferences and made sure their new rooms felt like their own. It was amazing to see how excited they were to finally have a space that truly reflected who they are.

Katie never made me feel rushed during our meetings. She patiently answered all my questions, even about areas of my home that weren’t included in our original contract. I loved that she was able to take my jumbled ideas and thoughts and organize them into a working design plan. Her knowledge and creativity were so helpful, and she always made me feel heard and understood.

While I didn’t opt for full-service design, Katie went above and beyond. Of course, she brought rug, pillow, fabric, and bedding samples so I could truly feel confident in what I was purchasing, but my favorite aspect of her services was the detailed design layouts, product links, and trade contacts. This allowed me to bring the vision to life at my own pace and within my budget — and she was always mindful of that budget while still delivering high-quality and stunning concepts.

I hired Katie K for a 90 minute consultation to help me select a paint color for my great room and get her advice on a variety of projects I am considering. It was worth every penny, and I cannot wait to have her back for future projects. For paint, Katie is extremely knowledgeable and talked me through all the considerations and undertones across a vast number of options - she even has large sample boards so it’s easy to see how the color will look in many different spots. I can be indecisive and we were able to land on a color in about 20 minutes - saving me the agony, time, and money I would have spent on samples had I tried to do this myself! For the other projects (living room furniture, front porch ‘zhuzh’, countless random questions) I’m SO glad I had Katie come over before I purchased or started anything. She gave me so many creative ideas and I really appreciate how she looks for ways to work with what you have before suggesting you buy something. She was extremely respectful and understanding of my small budget! Plus, we had so much fun and I left the meeting feeling inspired and excited for what comes next. I never knew how much I could love my home until I started working with Katie K. Interiors. Katie has two boys and totally gets that people want a beautiful home that can withstand wear and tear of kids and won’t break the bank. She also understands it can’t get done all at once. My first project with Katie was in 2020 when I needed to find a desk to accommodate my new work-from-home arrangement. Since then, Katie has helped me with nearly every room in my house. She did a complete overhaul on my entry complete with new floors and a front door. She worked within my small budget to refresh my dining room; using most of our existing furniture and refreshing with chairs and drapes.
