Worst experience ever here at this location. I will never return to this location. My first and last time!!! First off I’m 9months pregnant had to bag my own groceries while other works where just standing around having personal conversations. Second this cashier had the most nasty attitude I have ever seen and as a manager myself I for sure wouldn’t allow someone like her on my staffing team… I had her politely could she make sure certain items where kept separate due to the fact I was shopping for two house holds. She did not do that and whole time was slamming items while ringing up. So I asked for a manger to be called. As manager ā€œAntonioā€ arrived I explained the situation and all he did was let this cashier ā€œTazā€ laugh out loud and be disrespectful.. not acceptable at all and I for sure will be reaching out to cooperate because it seems like this manager Antonio doesn’t know how to conduct a proper shift

This Kroger is in need of significant improvement. The store feels stuck in the 1970s — low drop ceilings, cramped aisles, and a dingy overall atmosphere that makes shopping here unpleasant. The meat and seafood section is very low end, consistently underwhelming, with very limited selection compared to other nearby stores. Produce is another weak point. Fruit flies are common, and I’ve seen rotting items on display more than once (see pictures). The stench of rotting food often hits you as soon as you walk in, which makes for a bad first impression. To make matters worse, half the time the bakery smells like burning bread, as if something is repeatedly being left too long in the oven. A remodel and more consistent attention to cleanliness and product quality would go a long way. Or just tear this place down and build an HEB.

My partner needed to pick up some last minute thanksgiving items to take over to her mom's place. Thankfully Kroger wasn't too crowded, so things moved along quite well. Everything my lady needed to purchase, Kroger already had on the shelf, so they certainly prepared and made sure the shelves were well stocked with product. Overall a good experience coming to Kroger, and I am happy that they are closing at 4 to allow the employees to enjoy Thanksgiving with loved ones. 🦃🦃

Location A++, Cleanliness A++, Friendliness of employees A++, with the exception of the miserable woman who works at the customer service desk (ironically!) who looks like she hates her job, argues with you when you question your receipt and acts like the money is coming directly out of HER pocket when the register makes a mistake and you are entitled a refund (money that came directly out of YOUR pocket) It is with a heavy heart that I must write this review. Being the nicest and pretty much only grocery store in the area it almost angers me that I must now travel out of my way to go to the one in the heights or forego Krogers altogether and shop Randalls instead. But it has become just too frustrating and time consuming to shop here any more. First of all I am not exactly thrilled with the meat and produce departments anyway. I find both to be on the expensive side and neither to be of very high quality. Produce especially disappointing. But my biggest complaint is that EVERY TIME I go in for a large order and use a regular register instead of the self service isle, I either get overcharged, charged the regular price or not given an advertised special. Then I have to go stand in line and wait to get a refund. Explain the error to Ms. Miserable Face, argue with Ms. MF about the error (because she never wants to give the money back) wait at the desk while a clueless employee searches the store to verify the advertised price, walk that employee back thru the store because he cant find the items in question and then wait a little longer because they are now helping other customers while we went on our scavenger hunt!! Krogers is either trying to scam their customers by charing them incorrectly (how many of you check your receipts) or they are simply running too many specials at one time and are confusing the register, either way I dont have the time or money to waste at this store anymore. If you do choose this location over the one in the heights - be sure to chek your receipt, I am sure you...

HORRIBLE CLICK LIST/CURBSIDE DEPARTMENT HORRIBLE...PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME PLACING A PICK UP ORDER HERE !!!!!

WHERE DO I START WITH THIS STORE!! Today May 2nd I had an order for curbside pick up scheduled between 7pm & 8pm. Well, in the afternoon I noticed a missed call from a number I did not recognize so I called it back. Mind you no voice mail was left! I called back and it was Kroger. I asked to be transferred to the quick list area. When someone from that dept. answered me I let him know I was returning a call. He asked for my name and after giving him that information he proceeded to let me know that the reason of the call was because something was out of stock (beef shank) in my order. I said ok thats fine, he then said your order is being prepared at the moment and all we need to get now is your ice cream. But while this conversation is taking place I noticed he just didn't seem to sure about what he was telling me. So...... I called the store myself (meat dept.) And asked if they had beef shank in stock. Well what do you know, the guy said "yes, ma'am we do". I told him what I was previously told and he said oh don't worry I will take it to the click list area myself for you. So at that point I thought ok everything is good. Come 6pm I received an email saying please remember to pick up your order......Come 7:25pm or so I received a text saying please remember to pick up your order.... No where between the initial call up until 8:15pm when I get there to the store was I informed they CHOSE to cancel my order. Reason they gave me was because SOMEONE had called in and didn't show up to work said per manager "Cesar". Also before finally talking to the manager Cesar, the guy answering the click list phone was very rude and lacked customer service skills. I wont be going back to this mediocre store. Kroger on 43rd St. Really needs to give better training to all those immature kids they have running the...

Worst customer service ever. I have a medical exemption and got kicked out by the manager for not wearing a mask. I'm literally the only person in there not wearing one. Why? Because I have a health condition which prevents it. Then looking around I see nearly half the customers and half the employees not wearing their mask properly. If you only cover you mouth and not your nose, you're not doing anything. But ol' manager Chris didn't go around harassing them. Then he's going to tell me, "I don't know if you have covid." I said, "I don't know if you have covid either." He says, "You're right. I could have covid." So then why are you encroaching on my social distance?? Are you trying to get me sick?? I have plenty of comorbidities that a mask would help protect me. I'd love to wear a mask, but I can't. Especially if I end up passing out and somebody decides to give me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and infect me.

Sure I could've ordered online, but they always screw up my order, and the last time I ordered online for delivery, it got canceled for no reason (they still can't tell me why) and they never bothered to let me know. Now how hard is it to let a guy buy his dang toilet paper so he doesn't have to use his hand to wipe his butt with? I'm not back in Iraq where I have to...
