Origin Cowork — Local services in Houston

My company hosted a full-day staff retreat at Origin. The space is beautiful and bright, the owners extremely kind and accommodating. We used the large conference room equipped with TV-style screens for us to project our team presentations onto, as well as some of the common spaces for team-building exercises. The kitchen area was especially nice and convenient for quick access to coffee, water, a fridge, and a steady stream of delicious snacks and top-notch catering spread throughout the day. They even brought in a certified Bob Villa painting instructor, and we all created mini masterpieces! The lounge areas are equipped with comfortable furniture, adequate table space and provided an excellent place to relax with a laptop and get some work done between our scheduled sessions. I found Origin in the clutch of time. A new job, COVID/work from home status, and my daughter's miniature card table wasn't really allowing me to be as productive as I needed to be. I found Origin via google search and the lovely owners invited me over within the half hour to see the space and work for the day.

Spacious, comfortable, and all the high tech amenities you could want or need during your work day. From the beautifully appointed lounge, and kitchen, to the large conference rooms you can reserve for SOCIAL DISTANCING, to multi-media capabilities, Origin has it all. They have hosted my larger team for meetings, and I'm now an Origin regular.

Origin is unlike any other place in Houston. The bright and open space makes you feel at home while also encouraging creativity while you work. The fast wifi, coffee, printing, easy parking, and 24-hour access makes Origin the perfect place to get out of the house and into a more productive space. Gone are the days of interruptions during a zoom call when the doorbell rings, and the dog goes crazy.

Having an onsite owner is what truly sets Origin apart from other co-working places in Houston; Weezie and Rob are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have met. They have gone out of their way from the beginning to make sure the space has everything the other members and I might need.
