If I could rate this place lower than a one star, I would. I have been to multiple escape rooms throughout the years and NEVER have I left a room feeling disheartened and frustrated. The puzzles were such a mess that it wasn't even fun, the clues were also more confusing (I don't even know how that works), and the background ambience was extremely low quality and annoying (you could clearly tell that the sirens were looped on a video that constantly cut out... really ruined my immersion). I don't have high standards for escape rooms but this was something else... there are other better escape rooms in Houston that deserve your money, this is not one of them. It also sucked that when we finished the room, the staff looked like they wanted us to leave immediately and weren't even allowed to tell us what we missed in the room. On a positive note, at least the props and dead bodies were pretty cool. It made me jump and scream in surprise before the room even started. Sad that everything else sucked :(

It was my birthday & From the moment i walked in i was greeted and treated really well. Me and my wife were about 30 minutes early and we were waiting for our party. There were plenty of places to sit and relax while waiting on our gang to get there. When we were all there, Matt and Ashley (Our game host) told us the rules and how everything works. Me and my 8 Friends had the best time. Our game Host was awesome as she never interfered with our progress and helped us when we needed it. We got out of our room with only 2 seconds to spare! After it was over the huge screen was lit up with a Happy Birthday sign for me. It was awesome. Thanks for helping to make this the best birthday i have had in years. - Mark

I love this place! The two staff members that I interacted with (one was our game master and one was just there) were so funny! Our game master was really good about giving hints, and helping us go in the right direction when we got stuck. We did the Helter Skelter room and it was great! There was just the right amount of jump scares with out being too cheesy or so many that you couldn't focus on the clues. Based on other reviews, I thought it would be a lot scarier. The clues were easy enough to solve (most of them) without being too easy and they weren't too complicated either. I definitely want to go back and try the other rooms!

Three stars for a few reasons. A very bad experience but redeeming factors raised their score from me or else I would’ve rated 1 star. Let me start by saying me and my girlfriend did all the rooms in their original location. When we heard a second location opened we were excited because their rooms are very well designed and aesthetically phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the original location and did all rooms including the newer one that replaced the zombie room. Starting with the employee Corey. He was a phenomenal game guide. One of the best we experienced in a while. He was overseeing our Apollo 13 room And which is only a 30 min experience. Their shortest room. He made sure to make the experience engaging, immersive, and entertaining from start to finish. He is what all escape rooms need as a game guide especially to have return guests. But that’s where the customer service ends. We experienced consistently rude and disinterested staff. And it was the same two specific guides in the from the other location that this occurred with. But what made this visit the worst was we were legitimately deprived of our experience. We neared the end of the Da Vinci room and would’ve finished faster if not for a faulty lock. The game guide saw this and entered the room. She said that has happened with that lock before. I asked if she could open it (with the correct clue to open it that we demonstrated before she entered.) I then asked if we could finish our room that we paid for as we still had time left. She followed up with “well it would take me 45 mins to open this lock and I’ve got rooms to clean. We don’t have time.” Which was unfair due to that face that we still had time leftover from our game that we paid for!! She then proceeded to show what would’ve happened with the rest of the steps with the door open and said “this is basically what happens”. Which if she had time to show us then we would’ve had time to finish. The lock held us up for about 10 mins. At the time this happened we still had over 7 mins left in our game. Meaning we were essentially robbed of a good portion of our game. We didn’t pay to have a guide show us “what would’ve happened”. We paid to escape. The most important part. And with rudeness we were forbidden to do so. That aside the rooms are great. But why have great rooms when guides don’t engage properly and your game basically becomes frivolous on the basis that the whole point of the game was taken from us. Corey was the only one who kept this score at 3 stars. Otherwise it...

Of the many escape rooms I've done, this is by far the most unorganized. My group did the Pandemic escape room, and much of the puzzles connected weakly. POSSIBLE SPOILER: What made the room more confusing was the amount of materials given during the beginning that had no relevance until the very end. Additionally, the correlation of some of the riddles made very little sense. My group and I have done multiple escape rooms, and this was by far the one that felt the least enjoyable. We felt it definitely attempted to strongly incorporate high level of technology usage, but it fell short of how stagnant the pacing was. For other escape room fanatics, here's a list of other ones I would recommend over this one.

S - Tier All of "The Escape Game" by City Centre (also located now the Galleria) Completed: Prison Break, The Heist, Gold Rush, and Spec Ops. This here is the pinnacle of escape rooms. The way they incorporate technology far exceeds all the other escape rooms my friends and I have been to. While they are more pricey than most other escape rooms, it is well worth it. This has always been my group's comparison and no escape room in Houston has come close. Their puzzles feel immersive, and they rely very little on combination locks. Hands down cannot recommend them enough.

A - Tier Paniq Escape Room - Wild West Located in a somewhat shady area but had interesting well-connected puzzles. Others who have been here may rate this a B - Tier escape room if they feel this rating is too high.

B - Tier Project Panic Escape Room - The Gallery Had a few loosely connected puzzles and slight tech issues but overall good experience.

C- Tier Exitology Escape Room - Haunted Nursery Rhyme Theme was good, but the puzzles definitely were just "okay". Not much technology incorporated, and puzzles felt more standard.

D - Tier Area 51 - Sugar Land Escape Room (Now Closed) Worth mentioning as this escape room was purely filled with locks. Any escape room like this is not...

Staff Behavior: Multiple reviewers have criticized the staff for rudeness and unprofessionalism. One customer recounted booking a party for a friend’s birthday, only to encounter a front desk employee who was immediately rude. Another reviewer noted that the employees were rude throughout the entire experience, with the host quickly mumbling through the rules and displaying annoyance when questions were asked. Such interactions have negatively impacted the overall experience for some visitors.

Room Quality and Functionality: Some guests have reported issues with the escape rooms’ design and maintenance. A reviewer described the room as poorly laid out, with malfunctioning props, leading them to abandon the experience. Another customer highlighted technical problems, such as broken puzzle locks that didn’t open even with the correct combination, causing frustration and detracting from the enjoyment.

Specific Room Concerns: Certain themed rooms have received particular criticism. The “Apollo XIII” room was described as extremely easy, with an instructional-based format where staff directed participants on what to do, resulting in a lack of challenge and engagement. Additionally, the “Alamo” room was criticized for having only one puzzle at a time, leading to participants standing around waiting, and for having broken locks and basic puzzles that became...
