Mostly Chocolate and Catering is a family-owned small business in Houston, Texas which specializes in full-service catering, handcrafted artisanal chocolate, and gourmet cookies. I was interested in their Bonbon Workshop where you get to learn what it takes to become a chocolatier through a hands-on experience. After my initial inquiry, we were told some specific information:
+they only offer private workshops with a minimum of 4 people, and they cap it at 25. +their workshops are available during the week after business hours (6 pm - 8 pm) and Saturdays anytime between 1-6 pm. +booking a workshop requires a $200 deposit that goes towards the class and to reserve a date. +the price for a workshop is $100/person. +each person leaves with 20 chocolates they make plus a 12-piece sampler collection (32 chocolates a person).
We booked the workshop for a Saturday afternoon with Mostly Chocolate and Cateringâs head chocolatier, Dany Kamkhagi. Our group of 8 enjoyed the workshop a lot as we learned all about chocolate and participated in creating our own! If you want to put together a fun event for a friendâs group or a company gathering, I would highly recommend the Bonbon Workshop at Mostly Chocolate...
Read moreI am a lover of bon bons, and every now and then I like to go out and try chocolate bon bons. Mostly Chocolate & Catering is tucked away on N Post Oak Rd and offers a large selection of chocolate bon bons and a variety of other chocolates and snacks.
They have so many options of bonbons, which look like pieces of art, and it was so difficult choosing flavors because they all looked so good. The business is family-owned, and they were super nice and very knowledgeable of the stuff they were selling and also recommended some great flavors. They will also let you try one flavor of choice!
I got the hazelnut and pop rocks, sâmores, Keylime pie, tea and cookies passionfruit, toasted coconut, macadamia crunch, salted caramel, house praline, baileyâs Irish cream, almond toffee crunch, and coffee and cardamom. Some of their flavors were very unique, and I think they won an award for the poprocks one.
It was very hard choosing a favorite, but I think my top flavors are the toasted coconut, Keylime pie, and passionfruit. Everything just tasted delicious!
Overall, I think this a one of the best chocolate bon bon...
Read moreIf youâre looking for a birthday present, anniversary present, wedding presents or just because presents you cannot go wrong with mostly chocolate. I was gifted a 16 piece assorted chocolate box for my birthday recently and was blown away with the quality of these bonbons. These are the most beautiful chocolates I have ever been given. I loved them so much I even went and visited the location to see the chocolates for myself. They have chocolate making classes on the weekends and I would love to do one soon. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. I met the owners and they are just phenomenal. I had a wonderful experience not only receiving a gift from this special chocolate company but now definitely becoming a normal customer. Highly highly recommend the salted caramel and the pop rocks is always a fun experience...
