This place was suggested by a friend. I have never been to any Red Robin, just not the first place I think about when I want a burger. So as soon as we came in we were greeted and taken to a table, even though we were meeting a few friends they had the tables set up and ready. That was impressive. After everyone arrived, we ordered. Server was very helpful, great service and suggested a few things. We didn't wait long for our food and let me tell you everything looked great. Very well presented and not just thrown on the plates. I had the smokehouse brisket burger. This thing was loaded, fried onions, bacon, cheese, chopped brisket, jalapeños, and of course the meat patties. I did try the chopped brisket by itself and I though it was a bit over chopped but as soon as I took a bite it was awesome. It all came together very well. The burger patties had a good charr on them. Plenty of melted cheese, sweet fried onions and the jalapeños just gave it all a nice kick of heat. This burger had it all, even the brioche bun was toasted well. I also noticed I never put the burger back down after the first bite. I was completely surprised at how good it was. It came with fries, which are bottomless and they bring more out to you when you want more. We also never had to ask for a drink refill. Everyone was happy with the experience there and I can say I will come back to try the rest of the menu. So yes come by and try this place out if you haven't. They don't just have burgers on the menu, there's other items. Bring your kids,...
Read moreWe were seated and drink/food orders taken by a mildly indifferent server. I ordered a Master Cheeseburger with no lettuce, double cheese and add onions. Got a burger with lettuce, not double cheese, and of course no onion. The (different) server who brought our food was nice, and at first I said I could scrape the lettuce off, but then noticed the cheese and absentee onion, so she asked me if I wanted the burger remade. Yes, please. She quickly brought out a remade burger that was hot, and exactly the way I’d ordered it. Good on them!
My husband got a Southern Charm burger, which he said was good.
At no point did anyone refill our drinks. Asked for the check and a box to take home the rest of my burger. She brought the box but forgot the check.
The burgers were quite good once they got mine right, and the fries were hot. The service was slow and of course they didn’t get my order even close to right.
Last thing I have to mention (which is no fault of the servers) the 2 person table was SO crowded with those cardboard food advertisements and an annoying electronic Ziosk tablet for playing (paid) games, there was little real estate left for the food! Also, greasy fingerprints all over it, kinda gross.
Overall - they’re a chain which is known for their burgers, and those were good. $35 for 2 burgers and 2 cokes. This location has a ready supply of customers due to the movie theater and comedy club, so they really don’t have to try. Their service shows that. Two stars because the service...
Read moreLast Friday we arrived around 6:30 pm, a party of six. We were seated quickly and the waitress took our drink order. After drinks we were given ample time to view the menu. We placed our order and waited. After an appropriate amount of time the food arrives minus one order, mine. Shortly after it arrived minus the fries, I asked if I could get the fries, after a longer than expected delay I received the fries. I ordered the burger with light pink, it was mostly red. we the waitress came by I ordered more fries, this time it took a long time, so I asked we mentor if we could get another order of fries, for the 6 of us. I came out 5 minutes later. We asked for a couple containers Togo, this took a long time. The waitress came by and asked if we got the fries we asked for 20 minutes before, and got us some to go. Six people received two additional orders of bottomless fries in one hour to share. We understand the waitress was new, the one shadowing her was not, when we asked for the second order he knew we where not pleased. We were gracious and left an appropriate tip. Ending thought: We all agreed to stop frequenting this establishment based on the lack luster service, poor quality of the cook on the burger, and the stinginess of the so called bottomless fries. A seasoned caring staff would have noticed two bites from a burger and ask if there was a problem. We got the feeling we were at best an inconvenience. Not the way to...
