The Montrose Studios — Local services in Houston

Working with Maria has been the worst experience of my life. When I met her I asked if she could do photography for me but she told me that she offers event coordinating services. So I trusted her and I gave her money to do this service for me. Here is what happened: Day of the party, the party was not set up by the time that guests were arriving. So I had guests waiting around while she continued to set up. She ordered plates of a different color than the color that we agreed on and I had to pay 450 dollars day of for them. She didn't return the stuff to the vendor and she broke one of the cake stands so I had to pay an additional 50 dollars. I paid for curtains and she lied to the events place and told them I dont want curtains because it will mess up the pictures. She tried to take money from other vendors (moon bounce etc) and do free services for them instead of paying them what was due. She lied to me about what she was buying and doing with the money. I paid her 700 dollars for pictures that she still has not given to me yet.

I would not recommend her for any event whatsoever. Please stay away from...

It truly felt like we were in five different sessions! They even played Christmas music to create the perfect holiday vibe.

We went to take Christmas photos for the kids with Maria at The Montrose Studios based on a recommendation from a cousin. We saw my cousin's photos and loved them so much we wanted to take photos for our own family. Maria is very efficient when it comes to kids, knowing that they can sometimes be a handful. She took more photos than the package that we chose so that we can have more photos to choose from. The little one was crying through some of the photos but Maria made it work and the pictures came out so cute! We can't wait to go back to The Montrose Studios to take all our family pictures from now on! She is really creative when it comes to backdrops and has many to choose from. She stays in constant contact with you and makes sure that you're happy with the photos. She's really sweet and we will be coming back for all the holiday...
