Margaritas are good. Food is good. The only problem is that it sort of strives to be elevated Mexican food while not quite taking care of the basics, though. For example, I think it could use some more basic items like pastor tacos from a nice trompo and fajitas. I had the fajitas once when they were a special and they were very good. They deserve a permanent spot on the menu, but instead they disappeared. The seafood campechana (pictured) is solid. I recommend avoiding the pozole if you are a connoisseur of the dish like my friend from Guadalajara. The view of downtown from the rooftop at night is probably one of the better ones in the city, and the DJ on Saturday night keeps the hits coming. Makes for a really fun atmosphere - especially on a breezy night.

Stopped in last night for a bite to eat. Service was great. Food was great. But within an hour of being there and parked in the lot, my car window was smashed in and a large amount of valuables stolen. No cameras. No security. I was told by the establishment that it happens a lot, even to their own employees...so as an establishment how is that not negligence for not only the safety of your employees but for your patrons? If it happens as often as you say, why haven't you invested in a reliable security system or hire lot security? My car was 20 feet from the entrance. Manager was helpful and even helped me tape a garbage bag to my window but sadly I don't see myself returning or even recommending this spot.

My boyfriend and I are bartenders and we enjoy trying out different bars & Eight Row happens to be one of the few bars we frequently visit. Their cocktails are very tasty, the food is pretty good & they have a great spirit selection. The $5 ring toss is always a must when there! They have pool, different games and the rooftop view is actually really pretty. We’ve been hoping to go to one of the many events they host but unfortunately we wake up a little too late or work. Regardless, I’ve heard they’re all super fun and that their brunch is delicious.

Good place for cocktails, a few drafts, and queso. The whisky selection is excellent (ask for the whisky menu). Don't sleep on the PAINKILLA (a boozy frozen concoction, which is discounted during happy hours). Evenings have cocktail specials, as well.

With the exception of the Adobo chicken taco and queso, I have not enjoyed the food here, for the most part. The Al pastor pork is flavorless--it seems they know this as they top it with under-ripe itty bitty chunks of pineapple, which, chefs know, overpowers every food. The fish taco was cold (including the fried fish). The barbacoa was just ok but not a taco I would order again.

The food issues have as much to do with the cook as their recipes. The price is good for the Brussels sprouts bowl, but the only saving grace was I ordered them with queso, so I was able to dip them in it. They aren't crispy, and I wouldn't order them again. I suggest you might want to try the burger. Personally, I am done with tacos here.

It is hard to effectively rate the service as it is an establishment that only provides service at the bar. If you are seated and have drinks at the bar, the bartenders and staff will check on you to see if you are doing alright.

Suggestions for improvement: The chicken is fine, but do the tacos differently. Also, it would be nice if bartenders offered suggestions while looking at the whisky menu because it is a bit...

Although a little on the pricier side, Eight Row Flint is a great addition to EaDo with unique spins on drinks that vary in success.

I sampled a friend's Casa Piedra Sour, which was a great balance of smoky and lemon. Think mezcal but with a twist.

The OG ranchwater, on the other hand, just tasted like a watered down mezcal with some lime notes. No grapefruit flavor made it through that well.

My frozen flight was delicious and the campari floater on the frozen gin and tonic was actually quite good from a friend's. My one critique is that the frozen drinks melt quickly, and leave a frozen-watery mix that isn't that good. So... Drink your frozen drinks quickly.

The ring toss ($5) is a really fun bar game where you can try to land a ring on a bottle for a shot or get a consolatory High Life. I love that they're willing to have a game like that to experiment with different liquors.

Overall an awesome place to hang out with friends and try some unique cocktails. Great addition to EaDo with a strong predecessor...

Eight Row Flint East End absolutely delivered on an incredible night out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the service was top-notch the entire time. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.

The cocktails were phenomenal. The Tamarindo Margarita had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, the Strawberry Caipirinha was refreshingly smooth with just the right amount of fruitiness, and the Mezcal Segundo Paloma had a fantastic smoky depth that made it unforgettable. Each drink was crafted with precision, and it showed.

And the food? Absolutely amazing. The Ocho Dog was packed with flavor, a perfect bite from start to finish, and the Brussels Sprouts were cooked to perfection—crispy, flavorful, and addicting. Pairing these with our drinks made for a truly satisfying experience.

On top of it all, the atmosphere was electric with a DJ spinning records, making the whole place feel alive. I’ll definitely be returning—this spot...
