For starters I'm surprised more clients have not yet been on Google to review this place. If you ever want to even think about taking a dance class or even just to make it a fun date night you don't need a hint of experience to come and enjoy this place. The owners are amazing and make everyone feel super comfortable and most of all they make if fun! You can bring your own wine or beer and if you happen to not bring any and decide you need to loosen up Lisa is always happy to accommodate with a glass of wine! Now for the part of the actual "dance" lesson(s)...you keep your partner the whole time so there's no switching here and almost every class is small which makes it great considering you also get a little more attention from the instructor. Don't let that scare you though, they are extremely considerate and know how to make the newest or most experienced individual feel great about the moves they are showing them. For those of you getting engaged and need to (or want to) learn a wedding dance, they host a class twice a month that you'll absolutely enjoy! It caters to engaged couples of course but anyone is welcome to attend. You'll walk away just after one of these classes feeling like you could nail a dance that you haven't seen any other couple do at a wedding before...I'm not joking. Absolutely loved the experience with each lesson. My wife and I had lessons before our wedding came up and we never once danced together but after all the lessons we were very confident and our first dance went amazingly well! I was surprised our first meet up to talk about package deals and cost ended up with our song being played and jumping right into it to get a feel of what she had planned for us on our song at no charge. The instructor is the best and knew how to break everything down and the room was very nice and spacious. She made us feel very comfortable and I think each lesson got better and better which means she did her job and we actually learned a lot and loved our experience. I really liked the atmosphere and the wedding prep classes and we recently went to the customer appreciation night for country dancing at no cost with small bites and wine which was amazing! Hands down the best and she has a great sense of humor and I enjoyed every moment of dancing there! Thank you! We picked a song from Howl's the Moving Castle and wanted to dance Waltz for our first dance. Silly us thinking watching YouTube and teach ourselves will get us there but we were totally wrong lol. After first night of trying we decided that we need a dance teacher ASAP since our wedding date was coming up soon! We stumbled across Love Dance HTX and found the price is very reasonable, so we gave it a try. It was the best decision we made for the whole wedding plan! Lisa helped us and designed a choreography in our first class! She was professional and cheerful! We felt really comfortable in our classes! Our first dance was a success! All of our guests loved it! For the concern of COVID, we all wear masks during our classes and hand sanitizer was provided. They also open the studio for us to practice dancing outside of our classes.
