The location was 40 miles away from me therefore I called in advance to explain that I purchased a groupon for window tinting and was told by the manager I could bring my car in at any time. I came at 2pm (the location closes at 7pm) and was turned away. They told me I was required to have an appt. I called once again on 08/13/12 and was given an appt for 3pm. I brought my car in and was told it would be ready in 1.5 hours. In addition I purchased headrest monitors that would be installed in 45 minutes. I continued to wait and by 530 pm the car was not ready. I made arrangements for my children to be picked up from daycare and continued to wait. By 7pm (4 hours later) my vehicle was still not ready. I was taken to the back where they showed me the tint was literally still being placed. I was charged for my other purchases and by 715 my car was brought out to the front as they were showing me out the door. I was left standing outside without my car keys and waited for someone to come out and give them to me. My car was a complete mess with the childrens car seats piled in the front passenger seat. There were streaks all over the windows and car. I would have expected them to leave the car presentable. I received no instructions on the care of the car and another gentleman mentioned as he drove off that I should not put the windows down for 3 days. The monitors were not working and the remote was left inside. All the employees were outside while I stood waiting for someone to answer my questions and by then the owner had left who was apparently the only was with access to the store and refused to come back (after having one of the employees contact him). I had to make a third trip today for the remote and to have the monitors properly placed only to have the owner tell me that my money was nothing compared to the thousands of dollars others spend in his shop and that he would gladly charge me to undo all the work he did to my car. Very very poor experience at this highly unprofessional facility with extremely poor customer service!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this automotive facility...
Read moreWorse customer service ever!!!!! Took my truck in for a system install (stock radio just adding subs and amp), and their guy cut the line to the RCDLR and damaged the receiver as well. Noticed key Fob wasn’t working and. Tire pressure sensor was off. Installer removed all wires and still did not work. I took it to a locksmith to reprogram key fob as owner and manager requested and the locksmith also agreed that the receiver was working then tried three more new ones with no success. Truck was not reading key fob. Tool it to dealership and after 8 hrs of searching they found the problem. Line had been cut to RCDLR and it was damaged. $600 later I take it to audio company with receipt telling him what the problem was. His response “why didn’t the tech call me?” Lol he then declined to reimburse me for their mistake after I did everything they asked then called the police on me for leaving the store. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn’t begin to describe them. I gave them Two days to help me get this resolved and on the third I paid an additional $600 to correct their mistake. I took my wife's truck to the location in the 7700 block of Westheimer to get her overhead DVD and subwoofer replaced - one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The DVD player wasn't properly installed, the speaker blew out, and the interior lights stopped working. After 2 trips to that location, and 2 more to the 12971 Westheimer location, they have done even more damage. In addition to the interior lights, vanity lights, sun/moonroof, and driver's side speakers STILL not working, the alarm stopped working, too. To top it off, before I could take it back one last time, the whole d@mn DVD player just fell from the mounting plate. Thank God my kid wasn't in her car seat at the time or it would have fallen down on top of her. Bill, the store Mgr, refused to extend a refund because it was "past 7 days from purchase", so I left all his second-rate crap on the counter and filed a dispute with my credit card company. They shouldn't be allowed to install a car air freshener - let alone work on sensitive...
