I went to NOTO in Houston this past weekend expecting to enjoy myself with friends granted I came all the way from New Orleans for this club, what I witnessed left me in awe, vowing never to enter this establishment again! An African-American young lady was treated so rudely by the security and staff, the only words I can use to describe the situation is wow! She was repeatedly disrespected, than removed from the club with security and staff saying there reason for this disgusting behavior was due to her not feeling well or sick. It was stated that she could not be on there premises if she was to throw-up. Now granted if she was drunk, causing ruckus, etc.. removing her would have been understandable, although this was not the case. This young lady only said that some of the food may not have agreed with her stomach and asked for a Ginger ale in order to clam down her stomach, this was taken and used to remove her from the establishment. In what day and age will individuals be treated fairly and not be looked at as if they are a blight on society, in other words would a young woman of a different race been treated in the same manner? Or would she have received a ginger ale to help clam her stomach? I guess I will never know? But what I do know is this incident has been seared into my mind and heart due to unanswered questions caused by unacceptable treatment of a young African American woman just wanting to enjoy...

READ: The worst night of my life, after 6 years of clubbing in different areas of houston for the first time in my life I spent barely 2 hours in this club 11:50-2am and what do I get? A robbery at gun point by some black guys dressed with club wear and driving a Mercedes with no license plate. My car and other peoples car got broken into cops do absolutely nothing about it (not even pretend to care) CLUB: inside has potential; very neat inside yet very sketchy outside which is okay some clubs are like that and are amazing but my experience with the area this club is at was the worst; horrible very likely to be my last time going clubbing for a while. Must know: PARK VALET DONT THINK TWICE about it Dont carry any cash just card and whatever is necessary NO EXPENSIVE JEWELRY Dress up but nothing truly expensive SERVICE IS DECENT Dont order anything too complicated they wont know what it is GOOD THING: people from all kinds black/white/arab/hispanics/rich/ middle class/lower class Music was good but the dj didn't know whether to play full on techno or reggeton. I got weird out at some poit... worh the shot? Yes Just be really careful and if its all girls group i don't suggest. My husband almost got killed in...

Houston is known for its epic nightlife, but this place misses the mark completely. The different promoters and DJs each night might sound exciting, but it ends up being inconsistent. You’d expect the pricey parking and tables to signal a high-quality experience, but it’s a total letdown.
If a club could embody the term F-boy energy, this would be it. The security guy with the bad feet and locs? Overbearing, abusive, and unprofessional—shouting at staff, DJs, and even customers. There’s a difference between enforcing rules and being the kind of thug you’re supposed to keep out.
Inside, it’s just a big, underwhelming box with speakers and lights. Sticky floors greet you even when the doors just open. Long lines for drinks, no exciting selections, and no sense of organization—it’s like an amusement park where you never actually get on the ride.
To top it off, they don’t even open on time. This wasn’t just a bad night out—it’s the worst experience I’ve ever had in Houston. All five people in my group agreed: never again.
Summary: Skip it. This place is an embarrassment to Houston nightlife. Go literally...
