I get lunch here (almost) every week, the owners are so sweet and remember me each time I call ahead. Which, I saw other reviews that complain about the wait time, during lunch hour you can expect this because it's a small business... and because it's lunch time!! Almost every restaurant in the area has a crazy line during the peak hours. The life hack is to call your order in ahead so that your wait time is spent either still working or driving over for pick up. I've tried a few different of sandwiches off their menu and all have been delicious! (favs are the Mexican hot dog and the Italian sandwich) This is a staple in my lunch rotation and I look forward to it every time like my little midday treat. Highly recommend, support your local...
Read moreThey take forever to make a sandwich took about 25 min to get one sandwich , ordered the chicken buffalo sandwich. This was a bad first time the employee forgot about my order apparently my sandwich was way too crunchy he left it in the small griddle they have there . He apologized but thats no excuse for a very toasted bun and forgetting an order will I come back no if the wait is that long on a normal day i can only imagine how it is when busy. My lunch is 45 min and I wasted 25 min waiting on an overly cooked sandwich it was hard and it was not busy here . The place is quick ti gee order just not sure what happened . Ambiance normal it’s inside a building with more shops. Thanks to the employee for...
Read moreSecond slice is inside a refurbished warehouse in the East End of Houston called Iron Works. It’s a place where shops, vendors, and other retail come together. The sandwiches are what I would call run of the mill. Most of what they offer are things you could EASILY make at home and probably make it better. Nothing jumps off their menu and they take a long time to make a sandwich so DO NOT got during lunch time or if you’re in a hurry. The staff is friendly I’ll give them that, but the prices are ridiculous for a sandwich, again, you could easily make for yourself at home. It’s worth a shot if you’re in the area, but it’s definitely not a place you’d want to drive out of...
