Dropped off 3 rolls of film on 5/25 2 Kodak Gold 200 one of them was expired I often buy them like that, and a Seattle Filmworks. When dropping off I was given a little push back on my Seattle fimworks film, I honestly wish he would have just given it back, and stated it was “trash film” and to stick to Kodak. I love the way my photos come out with Seattle filmworks as I’ve had quite a few rolls developed already, but didn’t say anything and noted to not bring it here in the future. It does take a little more to develop, and I would have understood if he told me he was uncomfortable trying to process it. All 3 rolls of film were also used in the same camera on the same day as I went on trip with my mom. I received a call on 5/31 saying my photos were ready. When picking up I was told one was old film, and one was blank. Guess which one was blank? Seattle filmworks. I was originally charged, but then refunded later. Thank you. If you’re looking for someone to develop color non expired film this is your place, I know he offers other services as well, but anything experimental whether it be simple or complex with 35mm, you need to find someone else. I’m still giving 4 stars due to the fact it is very hard to find someone close who processes 35mm film just to begin with & he overall was...
Read moreThis review is for their passport photo service. I generally like to support small businesses so I called to see if they still did passport photos and they said yes, it’s was $24.95. So I went in. He quickly seated me and told me not to smile (which is not accurate — you just have to keep your mouth closed.) I asked him to see the photo and re take it twice because I wasn’t looking in the right direction (he kept telling me to raise my chin). The only image he will show you is a 1” thumbnail on the camera (which he will not enlarge). In the end I came out with a mediocre photo where I look mostly frustrated (since I was) and with my hair sticking up in the back (which he failed to care about). When I asked if he could email me the image as a back up he said that would be an additional $14.95. For what? The two minutes it would take to send an email?
I would have been happy to pay a bit more here than a big chain, had I gotten similar or better service. But that’s simply not the case. I’d recommend they stop doing passport photos as they clearly don’t want to...
Read moreI've never dealt with a Film Camera in my entire life. By the time I was old enough to own one, the digital cameras in your phones were starting to be more widely used... Well, my grandpa left behind some cameras when he passed, and I quickly discovered (by accidentally exposing the film) there were photos still in one. The photographs about two decades old, but the film was handled with such care, even the pictures I wound up ruining by exposing them to light. I can tell Photo Lab took the utmost care when they developed the pictures, and I cannot wait to show my family. I'll recommend this place for anyone needing film developed, and definitely be coming back when I find more film. Thank...
