They canceled my son's 1st BD catering via email!!! They didn't even make a courtesy phone call to let me know that someone else is trying to book that same date!! We had not put a deposit for the date, since we were working on a menu with them. I had met with them 3 months in advance and after that I met with them again and ordered my son's BD Cake from them as well. Left a deposit for the cake right there and then, but not for food, since we were still emailing and working on the menu. I am new to Houston and it took me couple of weeks of research on the internet to settle on this company. Now, a month before my son's BD I have to start searching all over again! I called them and they didn't seem to care. I was in tears after the call. My husband was so upset that he asked me to call and cancel our cake order with them, so we didn't have to deal with them again! I would have gone down there right-a-way to put any amount of deposit, if they had just called to let me know someone else is interested in that same date! Instead, they canceled my food catering via 'email' for a "repeat customer's" event! They didn't even call me! This is very upsetting and frustrating. I have been planning my son's birthday months in advance because I wanted it to be special! VERY INSENSITIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!

We are a very large family and the vendors I have so far hired for my parties have been repeatedly hired by relatives and friends. I am glad in a way that we found out about the way they run their business in advance. Not the kind of company I want to work with and market to family...

For years, I have enjoyed their lunch menu. About a year and a half ago, I decided to try their Sunday morning breakfast. It was perfect! Perfect over medium eggs, hashbrowns, crispy bacon, toast & excellent jam. This was the case for a few months. However, for the last year I have tried over and over and over asking the very polite lady at the counter to PLEASE ask the cook to make my eggs over medium. We have been through a few dozen eggs trying to cook over medium eggs but have ended up with over easy EVERYTIME! I can't stand eggs that still have white and clear runny. Some people can stomach it, but I simply cannot. I realize this might be out of the ordinary, but I have seriously pleaded and I have overheard the staff indepthly explain that I am requesting my eggs to be cooked longer than her normal overeasy. I tried once again today begging and pleading for my eggs to be cooked a bit longer...NOPE! This cook only knows how to cook eggs over easy and will not budge. Furthermore, the hashbrowns are no longer crispy and held together. It reminds me of the frozen hashbrowns that cook individual slivers of white soft frozed potatoes. This morning I asked for crispy hashbrowns and bacon along with pleading for over medium eggs but once again received soft white individual slivers of potato, blackened bacon and runny over easy eggs. Make sure you sample and know what you’re getting. We had a poor experience here with a cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. I spoke with them by phone a couple times before ordering, but ended up disappointed with the flavor of the cake and their accuracy/customer service.

I specifically requested a “traditional buttercream” icing and was told it would be. Well, it was anything but. The light, slick, shiney icing was thin and did not taste good. It was more like a whipped cream icing you get on a cheap grocery store cake. I called afterward to let them know we were unhappy, but was basically told they didn’t care. I can’t convey how shocked I was with the manager’s response to my concerns.

There had also been some problems in ordering the cake. I had to follow up with them more than a week after my order because no one got back to me for the deposit and some other details. I was proactive in providing that. However, I checked on a coupe days before the party and they did not have my e down for delivery, which I had discussed each time I called.
