Best massage I've ever had. It's not like I get a massage monthly or anything, but this was the real deal. I do a lot of running and lifting weights. I am very active. This massage was deep tissue, thai combination, with some stretching and hot stone therapy. Fantastic job.

This summer I've moved us out of one house and about to move into another. I stained my neck and thought a massage would help. And wow, did it ever! What I was thrilled to find is that I had a lot of tightness in areas that I really wasn't aware of... Mid-back, glutes, and even in my groin area on my right side. I got the Thai combination (which made me think that it would be a spicy lunch dish) and that really worked. I asked for deep tissue and the hardest massage possible. I knew it would really hurt, but I understand that type of pain was necessary to stretch out muscles that have been over worked by 12 mile runs and moving 75 inch TVs. She also used hot stone to get my Plantar fasciitis issue in my right heel to calm down. Amazing how much better that feels!

In general, I love Thai massage and massage is always on our itinerary wherever we travel. I gave it a three-star despite so many great reviews because they were rough, not sensitive, and careless. I always expect some pain during the massage, because relief follows pain. In this case, there was only pain. In Thai massage, they usually put a lot of lotion/oil on you to reduce friction, but this place didn’t, probably because they are trying to cut costs. I felt like I was being washed with a scrubber whenever the masseuse came in contact with me. In all the good places I’ve been to, the first thing a masseuse does when they come in is to ask whether you have pain in a specific area and the pressure you prefer. They came in and didn’t ask a thing. During the massage, regardless of how I reacted to the pressure, she never bothered to ask if I was okay. Their carelessness was what drove me nuts. I could feel the masseuse’s nails scratching my body. Also, my husband said his masseuse slipped a couple times when she walked on his shoulder.

I showed up this morning at 10:00 a.m. and got a combination massage from Nancy. I asked for medium pressure and she obliged. This was great compared to the experience I had at another place where I got a painful massage and was sore for 4 days following the massage.

She walked on my back, used hot stones and hot towels along with some tiger balm. My back was stiff after working in my bike yesterday. While driving home, I felt great, my back was loose and I felt relaxed. It was a very good experience and it ended with her offering me some water or hot tea, I opted for the hot tea.
