UPDATED July 30, 2020:
I've been taking my pup (Max) to doggie daycare 2x/week for the past year now. The staff is very attentive to my dog's needs & behavior, & is quick to alert me if anything's wrong (i.e. he's not playing like usual because of an upset stomache). It's clear my dog loves all of the staff & is well taken care of. He loves being able to socialize & play with other dogs all day, & I love knowing that he's in good hands. Sit Stay & Play goes above & beyond for all of their customers, & even created cute Christmas ornaments & paw-print Valentines for the holidays (pictured below).
My dog will STILL have zoomies after 4+ mile hikes & trips to the dog park, so doggie daycare has been a great way to supplement his activity. The daycare staff does a fantastic job monitoring all the pups & giving them breaks so they're worn out from a fun day with other dogs, but don't over-exert themselves. They also post pictures everyday on their Facebook page so you can see your pup with all their friends. One of my favorite pictures of Max (below) was taken by them!
Highly recommend for anyone with a busy lifestyle but is looking to get their pup more exercise/activity/socialization. They also offer military discounts. One of the best perks of living in Huber!
Best overnight boarding place in the area if you want your dog to have plenty of playtime instead of being in a kennel all day or only taken out for walks 1-3x/day like most boarding places.
The facility has a large indoor park & outdoor space for all of the dogs to play in. They are free to play all day - the only time they're in their kennels is at night to sleep.
We boarded our dogs while we were on vacation. My only complaint is they said photos were posted daily & there were only 3 photo posts on their Facebook over ~10 days, & we only had one photo of our dogs so we don't really know...
Read moreFirst off I want to tell everyone what happened to our dog there We are extremely upset!! Our dog Tilly has been going here for over a year and she loves it here but One day my wife picked her up from a day of playing No one said anything about our Tilly to us But we noticed she had a limp We thought she maybe pulled a muscle playing with other dogs there Well 8 days later Tilly was supposed to play there that day But my wife called up there to informed them that Tilly is getting worse everyday that she was going to take her to the vet to get checked out
The man who answered the phone told my wife that 8 days ago Tilly had a accident there but he did report it but apparently no one told my wife she got hurt so my wife took Tilly to the emergency vet where they said she a torn ACL and she needs surgery I contacted this business explained how upset we were about not telling us she got hurt there and also she was in pain until we took her to the vet They didn’t want to help us with the bill for the whole issue at the vets office which cost us $2,500 with office visits and the surgery All the would do is give us $290 back Which is totally unprofessional do to the fact the she got hurt there and no one told us about it when it happened
I would be extremely careful about your dogs there because this experience could happened to you I hope people read this and understand where we are coming from That’s why Tilly will not be coming back here We have been in contact with the owner We have emails but they are not will to help We have done everything we can to communicate with them but they not being helpful or responsible for their not informing us when she got hurt I would not recommend this place and I am...
Read moreWhen I was in Dayton for work I needed a place to take my fur baby for one day so I could avoid a late hotel check-out charge to the company I work for. Doggy daycare was needed and this place had excellent reviews. I took Bo to get his bordetella vaccine and temperament test, and all went well. Two days later I got him checked in and filled out the paperwork saying if anything happened to him, please take him to the vet. When I picked him up I payed and was not told of any incidents so I assumed the day was great. However, when I took him out that night, I noticed a one inch area completely void of fur and a deep puncture wound right in the middle of it. It was a wound that hadn't healed and had obviously not been treated with anything. We hadn't gone to the dog park back home since he has a full day of daycare, so the only place this could have happened was while he was at Sit, Stay, N' Play. Upon further inspection he has several scratches on his stomach and sides, and there is a big spot of blood in my car where he sat on the way home. I understand dogs will be dogs and in an environment where they are allowed to socialize and play it is hard to anticipate and prevent all negative occurrences. But for the love of God, why the hell was I not told about a bad bite mark when I picked up my dog? Why was I not called when it happened? Why wasn't the wound treated when I said he could be taken to the vet if there is a need to? If this stunt was pulled in a daycare for human children this place could be sued. I would not recommend this place on the basis that they tried to hide the whole incident. Attached picture is after a vet visit and one...
