Darlene was an amazing individual to work with! Her organization and attention to detail is amazing! Darlene met with us several times in person and via phone throughout the wedding process to iron out details, etc. Darlene met every one of our requests and provided suggestions along the way to help make the day a success. Two moments that stick out in particular is when I discussed with her the ages of our ring bearers (6,3 and 11 mos.). I mentioned the 11 month old has some severe allergies. She recommended using silk florals/succulents for all ring bearers’ boutonnières to avoid any potential risk of allergies, or if the 11 month old tried to eat the boutonnière! Another moment that stuck out to me was her always ready with a “plan B”. We were hoping to have our ceremony outside, but depending on weather, we understood it may need to be inside. Throughout the entire process, Darlene always had an option “and if it’s inside we will do this, or that, or a combination”. We ended up having our ceremony inside and Darlene stayed to help with the room flip to make sure our vision and plans we discussed were done fully and correctly. Working with Darlene from Anne’s Florals & Gifts was great! We didn’t have a lot of ideas of what we wanted and Darlene helped us navigate the decisions and create an absolutely stunning floral design for our wedding day.

We didn’t have a wedding party, so my bouquet and the reception decor was the only place we had flowers. They were absolutely stunning! We also splurged on adding draping and lights to the ceiling in the reception room and it helped to create an even more soft, romantic, and intimate atmosphere than we could have asked for.

Darlene was an absolute joy to work with and didn’t blink an eye when we asked to add centerpieces a few months before the wedding when we had originally said we were going in a different direction. The end result was stunningly beautiful and captured our simple, romantic style. The quality of the flowers and greenery were also wonderful. The review below was one I left in May. I gave only 1 star. In all fairness, my mother-in-law sent flowers to me (& the poor deliver person had to deliver in that torrential rain from a few weeks ago). Several weeks later, the flowers are still gorgeous. The arrangement is unique & colorful & simply perfect.

This is the other review from May: The clerk was super nice but the flowers were absolute junk. I purchased $30 of cut flowers on Thursday. One died Friday. Two died Saturday. The rest died today.

Anne's Florals & Gifts replied, asking for a photo of the dead flowers, saying quality is guaranteed. Flowers for my husband, while he was in the hospital & I was only allowed to visit for a few minutes. I appreciate the offer of replacement flowers but day late/dollar short. I wanted healthy flowers in the first place. When my husband buys flowers for me, he goes to "Flowers on the Hill" & the flowers last for WEEKS - we even had one set that lasted for over one MONTH. I didn't think expecting flowers to last more than a day or two was too...
