STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS This Place is horrible ( Hudson Ma Specifically). Terrible customer service and the lumber quality is pathetic and over priced. You can wait around all day waiting for a delivery that may not arrive and the morons don't even call to let you know they aren't coming.( it's happened four times to me) .. two times on framing deliveries which sadly on all occasions were within 5 miles of the lumberyard , and twice on doors.When it was lamsons it was far better on the material quality.The framing lumber now since koopman bought it is usually checked bad.If your looking for something decent enough to use for a stair stringer you better go and get it yourself or go elsewhere. I framed an addition in marlborough and had to send a lot back because it was so bad i refused to use it . you could clearly see that they sneakily buried returns from another job in the middle of the load.The gc on that job was ripping mad when he saw this. And it was also prevalent on the new lumber.On one incident a friend of mine had a delivery brought to a job and the dummy driver put an outrigger down on the paved sidewalk (with no board under it) and put a huge depression in the sidewalk. They have screwed up simple orders on me in the past. For instance I have specified certain lengths of materials that have had to be one piece and made it clear when i placed the order and said not to ship it if you don't have the specific length ...yet low and behold it will come in 2 pieces. Idiotic nonsense like that is common. They also have limited materials. National lumber in berlin has far more mouldings and variety of what you may need. The only reason this dump stays afloat is because of their location. They need to get rid of the idiot running this particular facility and replace him someone with an intelligent form of life.. The old dinosaurs who stayed on from the lamson era are complacent and should get their act together.As I said before I'm talking about this location in particular. Like many companies these days they hide behind a web page but the reality is usually much different.I wrote this review because of the consistency of their failures. If I had a one time situation it would be one thing we all make mistakes , however it's obviously a pattern here. I strongly suggest to avoid this place...

I only happened across Koopman Lumber because they were listed as a supplier for Trax materials. Ordering them Home Depot or Lowes meant a 2-4 week wait. Contacted them via email, talked to a sales rep (Jeremy rocks) and had what we needed for our construction project THE NEXT DAY. The pricing was also better than either of those box stores. A week later, ordered a wire railing system which was also delivered by the next morning. PROBLEM, mix up with a worker and the wife and he had already ordered and started installing a slightly different system...ie we screwed up and now had equipment we couldn't use. I assumed I would have to go onsite to return it. Contacted Jeremy who promptly replied that they would be over to pick it up the next morning and the return should be processed by EOB tomorrow. Place is great has good stuff for ur work requirements, go to store..... But one guy there just don't want to be there i brought my stuff dudes like what can I do for ya with a look like (really foo u couldnt went to the other register) lol made my day... but I asked for prices on the pouches and dude says I couldn't tell ya with like really bro attitude, well bro u needa make a customer feel greeted but idk u must not like Mexicans or sumthn whatever good store but I'll shop elsewhere. No need on that type of tude literally threw a full pouch set up just cause it didn't have a price tag on it. Face wasn't even the same color from before I got him off his computer it was red have great rest of ur day...
