Firehouse Seafood, in Hudson for a quick lunch and to grab some fresh fish. Called it in, ready when they said it was and the pick up by the side window worked great, and super friendly.

Got the cod fish and chips for $10 and it was a really solid lunch. Decent portion, decent batter, hot and the chips were still crisp.

The only suggestion I'd have and this goes for pretty much every place that does a fish fry or chips in the US, to wrap the food in paper like at a deli, before putting it in the styrofoam container.

Might not be the best in the world, but it's solid, it's fresh, can't beat the price and it's in walking distance to both Medusa and Ground Effect, so perfect take out for a summer beer garden. I'll...

We finally tried this place out and were not disappointed! We did not get prepared foods (that is for next time!) and instead got some salmon. The fish was excellent quality. As they told us in the store, "Good fresh fish doesn't stink!" It cooked up beautifully and was a testament to their sourcing. This will be our go to for fresh fish from now on as the quality is head and shoulders above what we can get...

Had the Grilled Salmon Meal, Portuguese Street Corn and Beef Stew as takeout meals. Large portions that are absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding too. It’s easy to tell that the owners, Christine and Michael, make sure to prepare each meal as if they were cooking it for themselves or their own family. Will definitely buy more meals when back in the area...
