I'm with my elderly dad who can barely walk who has colon cancer.Normally He would stay in the car while I go in go out.We just moved in this neighborhood and went to Krogers .We did a few errands right before, it was decided to bring him with me in the store just in case he had to use the restroom. He might need my assistance.Dad is in the motor buggy and in the basket we have 40 bottle water, dog food and maybe 7 random things like 3 pack bar soap, hair conditioner, small pack of cookies, French onion dip, bacon...the bacon was the only thing over 3 dollars basically. My father tells me he has to go to the restroom and he can't hold it.I'm hoping we get there in time plus he is going to need assistance most likely to even walk in the bathroom.I noticed lost prevention guy following us as we got closer to the entrance of the bathroom hallway. My dad parked the motor kart outside the entrance a good distance.I helped him up, walked him to the hall entrance and to the door.I step in and notice someone is in the stall so I said let's try the unisex stall. I help him out, tried to open the unisex it was locked. Thankfully the man in the came out and I escorted my dad there. He handed me his phone so it won't fall out his pocket. I told him the LP guy is following us so I can't go in the help but call my name if you need me. Mind you the motor kart is about 6 to 10ft. away frome the entrance. I stand close to the hallway pretty much in the bank area, so close the ladies in the bank asked me to comeand open an account. Turn back around just to see the LP guy standing in the middle of the hallway entrance with his arms folded looking straight forward trying not to make eye contact. He was clearly there for us and too obvious blocking the hall entrance. I walk the six to ten feet on the other side of him sit on the kart and listen for my dad to call my name if he needs assistance. First of all he wasn't going to stop me from assisting my dad if I heard him call my name, I would of went right through him. But it's the fact that he was so obvious and so on top of us since the start that it is offensive if your actually not someone stealing. The fact that he had to have seen me assisting my dad who can barely walk to the bathroom with no store products or basket close to the restroom area before he slipped between the hall entrance and me.My dad ends up walking out of course LP guy had to move so he can pass, I go to help my dad not fall from walking and helped him the kart.My dad was confused on why LP guy was so on use and wanted to leave. To top it off the LP guy walked us/waited at the registers untill we were being checked out. If my dad wasn't bound by means of transportation from in the store to the car via motor kart We would have left all the stuff there and went to Walmart next door.I swallowed my pride and check out with a cashier instead of self checkout because I just could not tolerate the LP guy assuming more stuff on us. I paid my 16 dollars worth of stuff and walked outside. My dad told me he did need my help in the bathroom but the last thing I said before he went in the stall was the LP guy is following us and just call my name if you need me. He didn't want them to think anything so he didn't call me.I had to drive next door to finish shopping at Walmart but Krogers that LP guy was to aggressive and too obvious and it's offensive to shoppers if you just take a few seconds longer and actually observe what's going on instead of getting hard thinking everyone is stealing. Nothing we did looked like stealing and I just can't walk in that Krogers...
Read moreMy review is based on my own personal experience with this Kroger at Townsen!! During this pandemic I have been to 4 different Kroger locations. I have been to Kroger on Studemont Kroger on 43rd Kroger on Yale and its sad to say but these 3 have not provided great service. These 3 locations have bad management along with unprofessional employees. They dont call they dont text or send an email to inform you what is out of stock or what items are being substituted. I dont recommend none of these 3 locations...but what I do recommend is the Kroger at Townsen!!!! This Kroger has the best service has the best employees and the best management. If something is not in stock they call you and inform you and let you know that it will be substituted with something else if its ok with you. When you arrive to pick up your groceries and you call them they sound happy to assist you they come out with a smile and place your groceries in the trunk without an attitude. I love to come to this location because they work as a team and they all have great manners and they are polite and they go the extra mile just to make sure you leave happy. Therefore, I congratulate everyone at this location for such great amazing service..everyone from management to casheirs to stockers to clicklist to employees that are out there grabbing the carts to the janitors and to everyone I didnt mention...Thank you!!!! Thank you for working so hard during this difficult time and still having the will power to satisfy us as customers!!! May God always protect you all and keep you all safe at all times. I really recommend this Kroger and I hope you all give them a chance to show you what great service feels like. If Im wiilling to drive about 30 minutes to this location I think everyone that doesnt live in this area can do the same. Like I said in the beginning...this review is based on my personal experience and its the God...
Read moreI buy my spouse flowers at least once a week from the Kroger near our house. On Feb 12, I was in the area and decided to stop at this location for flowers. When walking in, I noticed no one working floral. Instead of making a big deal, I patiently waited hoping the florist was maybe in the restroom. After patiently waiting about 15mins, a lady stocking asked if she could help by calling the florist. When the florist arrived it was a young lady, I believed her names was Adrianna (I know it started with an A). The young lady was nice but informed me to wrap my flowers it would be $5 and to combine like flowers that would be an addition $5. I looked around for any signs or postings thinking that the policy may have changed; but there wasn't any signs or posting stating these "fees". I then requested to speak with a manager. A "area supervise" by the name of "Cat" rudely came over and reiterated the "fees". "Cat" became very aggressive when I began stating that I didn't see any signs and how I always come into Kroger. "Cat" began cussing and making racial slurs stating "you n*s can't read or understand anyway". I immediately asked for the store manager!! Cat "called" the store manager "Brenda" who was "in a meeting and couldn't do anything to help me". I can't believe I was harassed and treated unfairly simply because I wanted details on these "new fees". I left with nothing but time wasted, feeling humiliated. I told Cat I would contact corporate and she stated "I don't care, I been working here, I'm never going to get fired". Her attitude makes the company look bad and could definitely get you guys...
