Visited this new Apple Store at Birkdale village in Huntersville for the first time to upgrade the phone to iPhone 15 Pro. It was such a rainy day. The store is much smaller than the one from Northlake mall, and there was decent amount of parking. Birkdale village in general is too crowded these days especially getting in and out can be a pain with all the heavy traffic.
Store: The store has a new look, not a typical washed out white with plenty of wall accents, nice creamy tone, great textures and a very cozy feel. Colors of all the accessories was popping out. Even though store was smaller, there was decent enough crowd and it didn't look too much.
Experience: With a short wait, Julia came to help with the upgrade. With At&t upgrade I had a $1000 trade-in which didn't go as smooth as it should have been. She was pulled in all directions, distracted, after going through the whole process, server disconnected. And she said that same deal didn't appear again, and then another retry start over. Was trying to sell apple care which I wasn't interested in. Apple trade in offer was at 580 dollars, so the 1000 dollar at&t offer def didn't make them happy and it was brought up at least 4 times which made me feel uncomfortable and afraid if I'd be able to get that offer or not after that failed trial. I understand, the store was relatively busy and the rep was an experienced one and she was pulled in all directions, but it could have been little better.
The location can be really busy as it's by the road side, but the view was much better than Northlake because of the moving traffic and plenty of natural light made the experience a little better.
I highly recommend the store for the great ambiance and a...
Read moreI called this store today to ask if they had an Apple Watch band I was looking for. When the person answered I politely said that I was calling to see if he could check if their store had the Apple Watch band in stock, to which he answer “Absolutely not” I explained that I’m traveling over an hour. I didn’t want to make a 2:30 round trip to be told they didn’t have it in stock, he didn’t care and replied with “ I worked in a store that was the only one in the area and people traveled and hour or more to check if we had an item, you have to come in to check the inventory, we don’t do that over the phone” before I called this store I had spoke to someone in the Greensboro store, they were very kind and checked the inventory but didn’t have the item I was looking for in stock
Unfortunately I din’t get his name, he did say he worked for tech support. This person clearly dislikes his job, has no soft skills, and really should consider finding another place to work where he is kept away from having any customer contact. I understand this individual doesn’t represent Apple as a whole, however this level of service is...
Read moreI’m having a really tough time with my pre-ordered iPhone. The Apple Store messed up my order when I picked it up, and they accidentally added it to their inventory. Someone else bought it before I could get it fixed. I went back the next day, and they found another phone, but my upgrade wasn’t reset with AT&T. I called AT&T, and they said that when they canceled my original phone, they never updated my upgrade. I finally got a specialist at Apple who could reverse the upgrade, but I had to wait a whole week for them to release the upgrade to AT&T. Then I spent another week waiting for a phone at the Apple Store, and I finally found one. I immediately ordered it and used the Apple courier service to get it to me. But guess what? The courier canceled the order! I contacted Apple, and they don’t know why it was canceled, but they’re going to re-order the phone. So I’m starting the process again. But you can guess what’s happening now - my upgrade isn’t reset again! I’m so frustrated and disappointed. I need help, please! How can I get...
