So sad to see bad management ruin a good place. I'll start by saying I always leave $10 tips and the stylists are good people but Today's experience was unacceptable and I will never repeat after being there many times. I called in and couldn't get an appointment but was told someone was coming in at 12:30 to take walk-ins and there would be 3 stylists there. I get there at 12:30 and am #2 on the list. The #1 guy gets to go but there are only 2 stylists. About 15 minutes later the second girl finishes up and I'm like cool my turn- Nope. She goes out to smoke. So I'm like ok she needs a break- when she comes back in she just says bye to the other girl and leaves - leaving the other girl completely alone doing a haircut and with 6 people at the bar! After another 10 minutes the lone girl left finishes up the #1 guy and then has to check him out at the bar- at which time she gets swamped by all the dudes there waiting for 20 minutes to get a refill. So she has to get them all drinks and another couple comes in. It's now 1:20 and I've been waiting 50 minutes and was #2 on the list. She comes over and says "sorry, but my 1:30 is here so I'll have to take you after that". I'm like, just wow- 50 minutes and I might only have to wait another 20-25 minutes and hope someone else shows up. No thank you- I left after sitting in a bar for 50 minutes waiting for a haircut that never happened. Will never go back and I'd suggest you don't waste your time either unless you have all afternoon to waste away. Truly sad about this because I liked the stylists and this is just pure...

I haven't been in a while (stupid Covid!). But we ventured over tonight and I realized I had forgotten what I missed! The new (ish to me-I think he's been there about 6 months) bartender was a delight! (I'm bad with names, I'd love to shout him out-he's a people person for sure!) I'm usually a Fox & Hound person, occasionally Brixx if I'm in a pizza to go mood, but we went earlier tonight (Tuesday) and had a blast. Great live music from what I assume was an open mic night and awesome company. I tried the dark coconut IPA draft. Wasn't sure if it would be my thing, but it wasn't heavy or too 'suntan lotiony'.(I maybe just made up a word 🤔) It's made by Michael Waltrip and he may or may not have been there to talk us into it. Does anyone want my $25 gift certificate? Its yours. Today was the single strangest and offensive experience I can recall. Twilight Zone. Tried to make a call-in appointment. They would not answer the phone so i attempted a walk-in. From lounging in the very chairs they are supposed to cut hair in, Mama June and Nancy Sinatra explained that they don't answer the phone when they are too busy on their smart phones. Mama June took my name and asked me to come back in 2.5 hours. I did return in 2.5 hours and still with no clients in sight, Mama June explained that it would be another inexplicable 1.5 hours. June and Nancy were still just keeping the chairs warm with their own ample backsides. For reasons i do not understand, it was completely obvious that my business was NOT wanted.
