We've gone many times, sadly the last three times the service has been lacking more than the time before. After yesterday though, we won't be returning. I went with two mom friends and our three kids, plus a baby. We ordered drinks and food immediately, especially as they were out of kids menus to occupy the hungry 3 and 4 year olds. The waitress took 10 minutes to bring our drinks, forgetting the first child's drink, as well as the dough to help distract the kids from the wait time. We asked two different servers to help with the drink, as being left out and thirsty creates a crabby child. Almost 10 minutes later they finally bring the drink - no lid and no straw. Then our meals finally come out, but one of the pizzas was missing the one topping. We tell the server it was supposed to be cheeses and mushroom. He returns a minute later and tosses the plate down with cold sliced mushrooms on top of the cheese pizza. Ok, slow service on refills and then the checks arrive, all wrong but we fix it amongst ourselves to save on time. Mind you the kids have been very well behaved and patient this entire time. One mom leaves, and two little boys move to the adjacent empty table and play with their small toys. Two other kids from the table next to us join them for a few minutes. They are playing and decide to use the sugar container. It spills. As the kids are picking up the spilled packets, the hostess stomps outside and swipes the holder from them and stomps inside. Now I've been a waitress, there were 10 other empty tables outside and these kids were not being disruptive. Suddenly, as we're standing to leave and the boys are finishing putting the packets on the table, the manager appears and rudely asks who these children belong to and if we'd kindly reign them in and remove them from the area. Wow, never have I had a manager be so rude! I know my kid can be naughty - this was not such a time. Even so, this manager should've spent his time helping his staff and giving good service to patrons before being rude to a couple of moms and kids trying to make the most if a mediocre and over...
Read moreWe've ate at Brixx locations in different cities where we have lived for years. Since moving into Birkdale we frequent the one here typically once maybe twice a month. Tonight we waited 30 minutes, got sat, the table behind our kids sat down after us, a table beside us got sat, then one behind my husband and myself got sat. All were waited on before us had drinks, and one table got their food before I got up and said something to one of the two hostess team members. One of the hostesses asked which table was ours I turned around and proceeded to tell her which was ours and what had happened, before I could say anything she interrupted and stated ok we will get your server. There were 3 different servers who waited on the other tables that were sat after us and none of them stopped to ask if we had been helped. Our server finally came and mentioned his manager said to come get our table. I didn't ask to speak to them, it's not a big deal but for someone not to acknowledge the rudness of the hostess or that we hadn't been helped for a while is crazy. Our server when he came was great, and the food is always good. Our bill tonight was around 54 dollars and we tipped 14 and some change. We have always been great tippers despite service because we understand, but after the rudness of the hostess tonight and the 3 servers who didn't acknowledge us after sitting there. We will...
Read moreCame in tonight my daughter really wanted pizza so i figured hmm mamas noo, vinyl pi nooo, maddios nooo so i though hmm i havent really ever had brixx so i figured i woud go with you guys. As i look on the online menu i see you have spinach dip with tortilla chips, mmm sounds absolutely amazing , then i order the salted caramel cookie, which also reading it was making my mouth water, lastly i got a pepp pizza. Now there are a few reasons why im rating 2 stars, 1 i get there look in my bag i see bread chips for the artichoke dip that should have had tortilla chips like on the menu, i tell the bartender hey this was supposed to be tortilla chips, didnt really seem to care which hey i probably wouldnt have either but i would have been a little more sympathetic especially since that was one of the main reasons i order the spinach dip so im upset but not enough to spend even more time removing the spinach dip off the reciept (my daughter was hungry). So i pay we leave i get home, pizza was amazing probably the only thing we actually ate. Spinach dip was mediocre, and the salted caramel cookie was soo salty we tried eating only the bottom of the cookie to just come to terms that it was no longer worth trying because all areas were extremely salty. probably will not be...
