This Kroger is always such a disappointment. Expired/moldy produce, 8/10 times you have to scour the parking lot for your own buggy, price tags are not rotated properly leaving people distressed by the discrepancy at the register, but it’s the only full grocery store for several miles so it’s tolerated. What I cannot continue to ignore though is the use of grocery shopping carts to haul trash. I’ve witnessed this twice recently- the first time only one cart so I convinced myself it was designated for this task however, today there were 3 of them that I watched be removed from the store, bungee corded together, and taken outside to round up parking lot trash. It’s absolutely disgusting to empty the trash into the same buggies people put their food and children in! Considering there doesn’t seem to be enough staff/work ethic/oversight on the daily tasks mentioned above, I highly doubt they are cleaning or disinfecting them afterward. Surely there is a trash bin for this purpose. If not, it should be top priority! Will include photos of separate instances.

So i was using my wic card and somehow the machine just wouldn’t let my card pay full. So i had to switch to the cashier since the staff who was in charge of the self check out machines said she couldn’t do anything. Thats when i met Badger. The best cashier in Kroger. Of course it didn’t work out at first. Usually whenever something like this happens, i would be told they couldn’t help me. But Ms Badger assured me that she was gonna find out how and make it work for me. And during the process, she was very kind and patient and even chatted with me while I was waiting. After a few trials and errors, she made it work successfully. I was very thankful! I think an employee like that should be recognized and highly appreciated. People like that would keep Kroger thrive ! Thank you again! Badger!

Great atmosphere for grocery shopping, well organized store, huge selection of everything and friendly staff!

Before moving to West Virginia I had never heard of Kroger. Apparently there are some in South Carolina but I've never seen them and certainly never been in one in SC. I only shop at Publix and Harris teeter there. But after dealing with Kroger for two and a half years here, I can say the only reason they stay open around here is due to lack of competition. I have never had a positive experience in Kroger. The employees are all rude and lazy, and Management doesn't wear masks during this pandemic. Today I was trying to check out in the self check out, I would scan something, put it in my bag and have to wait while the little computer voice told me I must bag the thing, despite everything being in my reusable bag. after eight items weren't "bagged" it wouldn't let me scan anything else and called for an attendant. The lady who was supposed to be helping was over at the costumer service desk chatting with the lady running that. Completely oblivious to my situation, so I unloaded the bag, put them back in the cart and moved to a line with a cashier. there the lady made a big deal about me putting sodas in the carton they put out for the "make your own 6 pack" beer section. I explained that there was no carton for the sodas and I didn't want to walk around with six loose glass soda bottles. "well these are for beer" she snapped back. then as I was leaving, the lady who was supposed to be managing the self check out stopped me, "sir, you didn't pay for what you rang up over there" as if I had stolen something, also revealing that she saw me but didn't care to help before she was done with her conversation. I have been to the Kroger across town as well and have also ran into rude and lazy staff, but it seems like this kroger is the worst. Kroger is obviously a horrible place, Like I said, rude and lazy staff, management without masks, and I forgot to mention their produce is always gross. I've never seen a groceries store with so much rotting and mold covered fruit and vegetables. I am surprised that the health department hasn't...

Another Kroger. ..No different than every one except the one in corridor G in Charleston. WV. Here parking lot is a regular mess, carts everywhere, entrance sidewalks a total mess, years since cleaned and escrub, doors need paint, homeless and bums outside asking for money. That is your first impression. Heck ,from there on, you wonder what to espect. Inside n is clean, organized, but checkout lines always busy and need more employees. They Can Do Much better. Update July, 19. 2019. For the last week I have been here 3 times.. Again the parking lot is full of carts and carts are everywhere... grounds are dirty.. Entrance door is a mess... Produce section is not keep, roten produce been stock on refrigerated area, can you see the Yellow past due produce been stock... Today one individual working on cash register, have to wait at least 20 minutes, no one helping to bag groceries, seems like Aldi is much better at this... What a shame, but new grocery store and service and attention to the most fundamental, grocery quality is not there... Don't understand how...

This store is beyond help and needs shut down. I spoke with the store manager Rachael about my experience from the time I got there to checking out. Not only did I have to go back out to get my own buggy because the woman working at the self check out didn't care. After finishing my shopping, I go to the self checkout and was having issues figuring out the split payment process. I hit the Call attendant 3 times, look over to the clerk who is on his phone not even paying attention. I decided that I will not be purchasing anything after this nightmare experience. As I'm speaking to the Store Manager, I tell her about pushing the attendant button and the clerk (Tucker) looks at me and says...We don't get notified when you hit the button!! I asked how am I the customer supposed to know that. He was trying to argue with me over it, but the store manager stopped him. She was nice about everything and apologized, but at that point, I just wanted to get home. I called corporate and reported everything. Still waiting for their response. I will never...
