I'm not a quilter, but I took a beginner's sewing class here and it was fantastic. It was very well organized and assumed you knew nothing. We learned how to set up and use a sewing machine, and then over the course of several hours made a cute quilted pouch out of fabric that we got to choose. It was a little intimidating at first, but Paige broke down all the steps and made it very digestible. I feel more confident about my skills now. I hope she offers more classes like this soon. Also, the store is GORGEOUS. You should check it out, even if you don't sew!

Edit: I took a second class here with another teacher, and it was just as good as the first. I feel more confident attempting projects at home, even if they don't use the exact skills...

How do I explain my favorite place in just a few words?! I really don't know how. It's such a joyful place to be, beautiful, organized, and inspiring. I just love it. The fabric options are like nothing I've ever seen in another shop, especially a quilt shop (which are normally red, white, blue, and brown)! But really, this place is so much more.
