Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Huntsville

This is my first visit to this one due to the other one being out of ice. So I pull up to the stall, push the button as usual. The kid on the other end ask me what I want I tell him four bags of ice a route 44 root beer with extra ice and only half root beer and a small order of tater tots. So for the next 5 minutes the boy on the other end argues with me about my root beer only being halfway full. I was mildly retarded because I was asking for the root beer to only be half way full. He asked me the same question about six times which was so you mean to tell me you only want me to put half root beer in this cup and I was like well I really don't care if you pour all of it in there just by the time it gets to me drink half of it or something I just want halfway root beer and all the way ice. By the end of the conversation I was embarrassed thinking that I was asking for too much when in reality I was only asking for half of it. Good thing I didn't ask to put a straw in it right?! Never have I been so disappointed in this sonic. I’ve lived by it for years and have always had a pleasant experience for the most part until tonight. I don’t know if something was going on with the drive through or what. People kept pulling out of line to go to the carhop stations but I was being patient and waited. After about 10 minutes it was finally my turn at the speaker only to sit at the speaker for 5 minutes going ‘hello?’ With no response. I didn’t see anyone at the carhops or the people at the drive through in front of me have any issues responding. I don’t know why I received no response and there was no one in front of me to top it off. Feeling so frustrated I drove off without ordering anything.
