Where do I find a good mechanic? Where do I go to buy my cars, trucks, motorcycles, campers, and ATV's? Where do I go to buy all of my tires? Where do I go for body work and Paint touch up? Where do I go for financing on a vehicle? Where do I go for oil changes and repairs?
HURRICANE CAR LOT... and here is why...
With transportation being an integral part of life, having a reliable vehicle is vital. RELIABLE transportation means succeeding at what I do everyday, this is how I sum it up
1- Functionality: Being able to make it from point A to point B without worry or car problems.
2- Safety: That the mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems are connected according to manufacturer specifications, and work together as a unit, and properly.
3- Tires: Life insurance between you and the hard grey matter passing under your vehicle at 80 miles an hour. They had better be good.
4- Mechanic shop: The place that can properly diagnose your vehicle and bring it back into specs, without you having to pay for a new car. Honest.
5- Customer Service: The people behind the desk, that know your name, will take your call, and will actually find answers, and solutions for you regarding your transportation, and repair needs.
6- Administration: The ones who help you finance, work with you on payment schedules, take care of licensing, registration and other related paperwork.
7- Sales force: Those who will search nationally if necessary, and are connected to locate and retrieve the vehicle you want or need, not just try to sell you what they have in stock.
8- Body shop: The knowledge and experience to turn your older, damaged or wrecked vehicle into your "Pride Carriage". Body work, wrinkles, and paint like new. Highly skilled, and well equipped.
9- Trades, Buy backs, and purchases: A company that will buy from you, if it is in mutual best interest, not just theirs.
10- The Above and Beyond: When a car company employee sees you parked on the side of the road, and calls to make sure that you are okay, and asks if you need them to send a Tow truck to pick you up.
These characteristics of reliability are tied intimately to my transportation, and that of my family, because HURRICANE CAR LOT, in Hurricane Utah, comprised of the people that stand behind the company have, over the years earned my trust, again and again by having provided each of the above mentioned services with the utmost professionalism.
I trust them, period.

The website is awesome! You get the important info immediately, down payment needed and your ACTUAL projected monthly. That was huge for me because my credit is less than perfect and by that I mean garbage. Plus, I had a repo back in 2020.
Once the other dealerships heard my situation the tension rose through the roof. As did my down payment and projected monthly payment. Which was putting me in a 200k Chevy truck instead of the Avalon with 100k. Understandably so. It wasn't looking very good for me as far as financing a decent vehicle for my wife and kids.
Everyone at HCL was amazing. Very welcoming, understanding, informative & truly professional. Samantha made my wife and I feel at home, made the process easy and enjoyable. I've driven the car 5k miles and it has been awesome.
I mentioned earlier I have dealt with used car dealerships before. As a mechanic I repaired countless vehicles for various used car dealers. Now here is what, in my opinion, REALLY sets this dealership apart from the others. In my experience dealers will try to purchase the cheapest part possible to maximize their profit. Id say a solid 85-90%.
I asked HCL to provide parts receipts for the parts that were claimed to be replaced. In this case the timing belt was claimed to be replaced. I know that the water pump should have been replaced at the same time if it was done correctly.
They gladly provided receipts
All of my parts were direct from the VW dealership. Timing belt, water pump, timing component kit and coolant. I also noticed they replaced the rotors and pads with high quality parts. The tires are also nearly new.
Integrity isn't normally a word I'd use to describe a car lot. That is all I can think now when I hear, Hurricane Car Lot.
Save yourself the grief and buy me a beer when you come home with a new to you car that isn't a piece of junk and you didn't get...
Read moreWe have purchased 6 vehicles from Hurricane Car Lot. We have always used Brad Young as our salesman. Our 1st vehicle was a 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. We were quite impressed with the fact that they actually let us make payments on our down payment. That was VERY helpful at the time! Our second vehicle was a 2008 Suzuki LTZ 50 Quadsport that we purchased for our grandkids. 3rd vehicle is my wife's 2013 Ford F150. Awesome truck with the 3.5 EcoBoost! Once we paid off the Explorer, I decided that I was going to get a truck of my own. I bought a 2009 Ford F250 SUPER DUTY. We were driving past the lot and saw that they had a Fleetwood Pioneer bumper pull camper, and that became our 5th purchase from Hurricane Car Lot. Our most recent purchase was a 2006 Chrysler 300c. This one we got for our daughter. Sure, we have had a few things go wrong on a couple of the vehicles, but, they are always pretty quick to get the problems fixed. What is really nice, is that they also have a shop that will fix whatever is wrong with a vehicle. The shop fees are way lower than most places because they don't have the shop to make money for the shop, the shop is there to support the car lot. My wife and I have been trying to get our credit repaired, and with Hurricane Car Lot's in house financing and with them reporting to the credit bureaus every month, our scores have been going up nicely.. With our payment history, and the fact that we are on vehicle 6, we could probably go to the bank and purchase a new vehicle, but we have been extremely happy with the service we get at Hurricane Car Lot, so we don't really see any need to go anywhere else. Thank Brad, Tera and Sam for 3 great years of service! We now have...
