PARENTS, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. the owner is suspicious at the very least, and certainly negligible about safety in their establishments (Central Arts is their other business). A staff member, Cedrick, intentionally unlocked- with a key- the bathroom door as I was occupying it. It was unlocked after he knocked, and I yelled “I’m here”. The door was not opened. Even though I turned the bathroom lights on upon entering and I thought that could be a context clue, it could’ve easily been a mistake. Cedrick , in his own words told me he had unlocked the bathroom door when I confronted him. Owner tells me otherwise, and was not present during this incedent. Music was loud. I understand if he couldn’t hear me. I didn’t sense any malice. Only disbelief they wouldn’t be more careful of such a thing. All I wanted was to inform the owner Josh about the situation, in hopes he could speak with Cedrick about the situation, and this could be avoided. But they were immediately defensive and thought I accused them of being sxually devious. Which I hadn’t strongly insinuated at any point thus far. Although I did say it was interesting that it happened AGAIN to my (fellow)female friend, the very same night. The lengths of which those involved went to in order to protect their employee’s reputation was insanely ALARMING. Such as blatant lies. They claimed the lock was broken and addressed it by throwing money at buying a new one (They did not ask me before this if that’s what I wanted done. Of course, I didn’t because I knew it wasn’t broken). I had a mountain (very important concern) reduced to a mole hill. I could have been a child. This could HAVE happened there to a child already. It didn’t have to be Predrick who walked in. It was open for Cedrick and 30 other people who could have walked in. Predrick shamed me for continuing to stay at the venue after the confrontation. If I was really so uncomfortable why didn’t I leave? I was surrounded by six of my friends and my 6’5 boyfriend. I would have left otherwise and it doesn’t matter regardless. These people’s main clientele are children. Stay away. Nothing further has been done and I have not received an apology for the many ways they’ve shamed me. Photo...
Read moreThis Zen turner review is a completely disproportional response to a simple misunderstanding. Central arts has been and continues to be a safe place for kids and it's a non profit organization that helps out the community. How does this Zen Turner go from saying that it was an accident and that Cedric apologized to don't take your kids there?
Central arts does SOO much for the community and it's very undeserving to tell people not to take their kids there after a simple misunderstanding. Cedric and everyone at Central arts are very very trustworthy people. Zen Turner please grow up and stop spreading misinformation. I've been going to Central arts / artcadeDFW for over a year now and I've seen all the good they do for the kids, for the elderly, for the homeless and for the community as a whole. I will continue...
